Mane and Wanyama were great, but I also thought that JWP did rather well. He was very combative today, added drive and impetus to go forward. I always thought that was a flaw in his game, that lack of combativeness, desire to win challenges and get stuck in, but he showed that today.
I am safe from saying something stupid....I'm usually hiding for most of the game....then I appear in all my omniscience.
http://liverpooloffside.sbnation.co...erence-lovren-substitution-skrtel-southampton Klopp explains his decision to remove Lovren....said he was already on a yellow card and both he and the ref were getting caught up with the mood of the stadium after the penalty not given.
Such a weird game though. We were unable to make a 10 yard pass throughout. In the end I think it was down to our disciplined and solid defending (for the majority of the game) and the exact opposite from Liverpool. Oh yeah, and Wanyama!
I was sat with head in hands at half time, end of the world, face all mopey and so on. My 7 year old turned to me and said 'don't worry dad, we'll win 3-2'. Naturally I clipped him round the ear for his insolence and child like optimism. How wrong I was. What a match. Utterly fantastic second half (penalty aside). Couldn't believe it and was grinning all the way home.

Good but I'm struggling to last til then! Those bleeders wore me out this afternoon. I'm emotionally drained.
You can wait 10 minutes to shout and curse at Roger East I'm sure. He deprived you the opportunity to see Lovren dismissed after only a few minutes.
Congrats.my second and third grandchildren are due in the next few months, and I'm not 50 yet so you're not the only one who thinks you're too young to be a grandad. It's good though, because I'm young enough to get up to all sorts of grandad mischief without hurting myself . My son in law is a plastic manure fan, so not much hope of me influencing my grandson's football allegiance (although he has got a baby Saints shirt that my daughter puts on him sometimes when her hubby isn't home and there's footie on. She takes photos of him weraing it, and messages him at work when he can't do anything about it.) I'll keep working on him though.
