Just read through all posts and there are some fairly silly posts up to half time which is probably fair enough given emotions involved but the above post is just stupid,no other word for it.
To be fair, if they played like that every game the crowd would always be behind them. It was not only the goals, but the commitment shown by all
...And may I add, since my beautiful Grandson arrived, played 2, won 2. Cant wait to take him to St Mary's for his 18th Birthday for our 17th Premier League title celebrations
I know it's a running joke for us about Lallana not being able to last 90 minutes, but he looked dead on his feet from about the 80th minute and other players did fade. As much as we'll enjoy the win, the fact you played on Thursday and the intensity that Klopp demands seemed a factor towards the end, first half you swarmed us and one most loose balls, but that changed more and more as the game wore on.
Why didn't you take him today for goodness sake? This was the perfect example to show him how it is being a Saints fan and why his grandad is a bit bonkers
Couldn't agree more, 2-0 down early doors and I thought oh ****...... 2x great changes at half time flipped the game upside down, loved seeing the old Mane back, even though he missed a pen he looks to have his swagger back. And Vic was a beast And yes FLT the wife found a loo in time....and she said your dad didn't scare her off in fact she thought he was charming.
Trust me, if he wasn't 4500 miles away with my daughter he would have been there. He just got a lot of un-grandad like rubbish on FaceTime this evening when I tried to explain the game. I blame tiredness, others would say it was the wine
