We lost two goals to Sunderland. . And Skrtel wasn't to blame then.. It's the mentality that has to change. Being more clinical and finishing teams off. I'm sick of us playing out if our skins one week and rolling over the next

This one is hard to get over because we built up some great momentum, and it's all undone by the same pieces of ****.

This game would have been perfect for Firmino - at least he is rather clinical.

Good point Wishi. I'd play Toure ahead of him any day of the week. Was he on the bench? I watched through a crappy Wiziwig link.

Agree with this, starting to find a bit of end product and maintains the ball in tight areas. Often set up the attacks today by finding space and riding a tackle, good little player in good form.

there is a total lack of game awareness in the whole team . We seem totally unable to control a game even when comfortable but the opposition decide to change tactics/system .At times there just seems a half hearted approach from our team that is just so frustrating (one reason posters like Flanno is that doesn't apply to him) and the individual errors just compound the problem

i'm off to open a bottle of wine in an attempt to wipe my memory clean

We lost due to individual errors ie Migs.

The mentality has since improved and we really built the solidity.

But this collapse is no coincidence - Skrtel drags the defence down, he's ****, he's got another piece of **** to his right and he's more **** behind him.

Not to mention Benteke who fluffs his chances YET AGAIN.

These players are bad apples and they ruined the team by bringing everyone down. They will be gone. 100% Benteke and Skrtel are gone in the summer.

Whether someone buys them or not, I don't care. I'll happily chuck them off a cliff.

But they will be gone in the summer.

Corrected. He's still a luxury player that flatters to deceive. Perfect for a team like Arsenal. He doesn't really actually get us from A to B though. Rarely really gets those key direct assists. We can do better than him.

Lol don't get me wrong - I'm not his biggest fan but he's getting better so credit to him.

Not sure he'll be good enough to regularly start next season but he's performing to a decent enough level. As you say, he could be a good squad option.

  13. Familiar story lately, only difference is we lost this time.

Been saying for a while that we lacking the cutting edge to finish teams off.

I didn't see the game today but I was listening to the radio. Sounded like we should have been four or five up by half time again.

Soton attacked us down our right flank - completely roasted us.

So many individual errors on show today and from the same culprits.

Mate, this one is the hardest to swallow.

Finishing teams off is one thing, but defending what we have is another. Our attack didn't let us down today - we scored twice which is more than enough.

The goals we conceded were diabolical - Flanno, Skrtel and Migs let us down. And Lovren is a liability. Klopp said that there was too much emotion ie Lovren couldn't handle the environment.

Sakho and Clyne were the only ones who can hold their heads up (in defence).

  16. Migs and Skrtel were both being criticised on radio.

I'm sure you'll appreciate me not listening too much to your view on Flanno though. He may or may not have been as you said but he could have had a stormer and you'd say that <laugh>

You will listen to me. He was **** and at fault for one of the goals and provides very little defensive stability.

Soton went down our right side, similar to palace.
