Which chairman? Actually it doesn't matter. Neither of the last 2 had or have any respect whatsoever for the chairman of the club, so pray tell why you think he should extend any sort of courtesy to them? Respect is a two way street and is earned not expected, it should as hell is not "deserved". The actions and views of both are very well documented, quite why you think the owner should even think about passing the time of day with either of them is laughable. Representative of a significant section of our support? Now you're really making stuff up Obi. Maybe with different agendas and chairmen, the Trust could be that, that's also well documented.
The trust formally requested that I was recognised as the HCST representative at FWG meetings and I was, Geoff Bielby has now taken over that responsibility. PLT stepped in as interim chairman, the role will be filled on a permanent basis when the new board decide who to appoint at their first meeting (which I understand is tomorrow). You'll get no argument from me on the poor consultation, the club has a terrible recent track record.
I'm on my phone and I have no intention of trying to justify the club's decision to close the West Upper anyway, so I'm googling nothing, why the hell would I?
Yeah cos it's the ability to drive that determines whether someone can afford to lay out £500 in one hit, not their earning ability. Nugget.
U 22s just arent as interested in football like they where 25 years ago. If you look at local football for instance how many leagues have disappeared. Saturday leagues ERCFA County league , 5 divisions ERCFA Amateur league 8 divisions Humberside league 3 divisions. Only the County league left now Hull Sunday league 21 Divisions i dont know if we even have 10 now. Like some say U 22s prices have been good but not a big uptake. Not sure what the solution is but to totally blame the Allams and the club isnt the reason.
That is where the problem is and always has been in my opinion. With Allam stating "Nobody tells me how to run my business," how is it possible for anybody to negotiate with him, as I'm sure you have probably found out olm. I am still amazed he got Strawberry do the research for him and then, even more surprised, he accepted their findings.
No problem in an 18 year old paying full price, but an u18 should not have to IMO. We aren't exactly filling the ground and we've been in the top 4 nearly all season. Football is slowly dying and for the average working man its becoming more of a pain with the severe lack of Saturday matches.
I paid full price ar 16. Still, young people nowadays should be mollycoddled and protected from reality. ****ing nugget.
I don't go off in search of answers to questions I don't care about the answers to, particularly just to satisfy some senile old **** on the Internet. Senile clown shoe.
We all think its wrong to close West upper but dont we usually close it for Cup games every season. Definitely the first few rounds. So unfortunately, even though there's season pass holders up there, its not financially viable to keep it open. Its a tough decision. If we look even likely to have demand it would be re-opened but we dont. The cost of opening a stand at the KC must be huge with the amount of stewards we seem to have to have.
So, you can't justify the club's actions? You don't care about what they are doing of why they are doing it? Fair enough. Fair enough you young, clueless ****.
I'm not trying to justify anything and I have every sympathy with those affected, which obviously doesn't include you, as you haven't attended a game since 1968.
