It's definitely true, if Bruce gets offered a bigger club, he'll go, he has done throughout his career. That's football, it's true of pretty much any player or manager.
Don't really care if he goes or stays at this point. I don't think we'll make the autos and I don't think we'll screw up enough to fall out of the playoffs whether he's here or not. I'd like him not to be here next season though.
So not definitely. Theres plenty of managers and players who've stayed loyal. We get rid of Bruce and i predict we'll go into freefall.
Seems like if we don't go up this season there's a big risk of that whoever is in charge. Massive debt, no fans, unsustainable wage bill.
Rafa has apparently got a break clause in his contract. Meaning he's off if he takes Ncastle down. So you know... Let the rumours begin.
Focus on the subject matter old cheese, this is all about whether Brucey may join Villa, and posters/fans views towards his loyalty or otherwise should such an opportunity arise. What makes you think potentially joining Villa is bollocks out of interest? Would welcome your informed insight, or is it more emotive non informed bollocks? Whether it's on the cards or not I haven't a clue contrary to some reports suggesting he's (agent on his behalf maybe) already defining terms. All I know is that unlike you, I want him gone in the Summer
We talk about tactics and Strikers going into the business end of a promo season. Looking back at the run in during Brucies promotion season we crawled over the line after standing on it for the last 3 weeks of the season. We had no real striker as Prostwich was never the answer..As a last match gamble who can remember who Bruce played as his 2nd striker??
A lot of Villa fans don't want a blue nose at their club, but since when did Randy Lerner listen to Villa fans? This could well happen, who knows?
Blimey, you sound like a civil servant. In the private sector, if someone isn't performing, they're as accountable for their actions, or lack thereof, as any manager would be. Especially if they're performing below par. As it should be.
Bruce hasn't had players (who he signed) playing for him both last year and this. Not one or two bad apples either. I just wish he'd walked at the end of last season, this season has been a colossal waste.
What's his problem? His focus should be on providing attractive, winning football. He seems to be struggling. If Brucey offered to return some of the £45million he's spent on average players to the owners, apologised for scaring off potential buyers, perhaps they'd confide in him more instead of blanking him off.
His problem? Probably that at Press Conferences he has to answer questions about their ticketing policies because they themselves are childishly sulking. All this in the run-up to one of the biggest games of the season.
