Yes, massive game now. Fingers crossed we get those valuable 3 points to jump ahead of Norwich and leave a dummy **** bags stranded.

Allardyce has named his Tyne-Wear derby starting XI.

Sam Allardyce has made one change to his starting XI ahead of today’s game at St James’ Park

Jermain Defoe will start his first-ever Tyne-Wear derby, he comes in for Dame N’Doye, who is on the bench this afternoon. The Black Cats’ top scorer has lined up twice against Newcastle at the Stadium of Light but never in a red and white shirt at St James’ Park.

Younes Kaboul starts alongside Lamine Kone in defence with John O’Shea a named substitute.

Jan Kirchhoff and Wahbi Khazri will also get their first taste of a north-east derby, with Yann M’Vila also playing his first derby on Tyneside.

Sunderland: Mannone, Yedlin, Kone, Kaboul (c), van Aanholt, Kirchhoff, M’Vila, Rodwell, Khazri, Borini, Defoe.
Substitutes: Jones, Cattermole, Pickford, N’Doye, O’Shea, Lens, Toivonen.

    I was thinking that.

Is Larsson still injured? Not on the bench

Well lads, enjoy the day wherever you are and here's hoping for another great result for us.

The old nerves are jangling a fair bit, but I've been so ill I can't touch a drop. Bloody dreadful I tell thee
