I think thats one game too many but I guess I'd suffer that. 6 wins would give us our best Premier League total. However, I would hate to think that by beating Leicester and losing to Spurs, Spurs win the league (or, more to the point Leicester don't).
For no particular reason, I think we`ll beat Leicester too. I really hope they win the league though.
I'm hoping we don't give Sturridge the same amount of space, as we did for the League Cup game, and would suggest the 3 CB strategy might be the best way to do this. Before "that" game, I was impressed with Liverpool's pre-match routine, where all the players, that are expected to get in the box, we're working on finishing, with balls up to an advanced player, who was laying it off for shots. Similarly they were working on hard and low crosses into the danger area, with players getting into the right places. Their finishing was quite impressive (albeit with no defence), with the exception of one player who kept scuffing his shots. No prizes for guessing who that was, but he has a **** beard.
I'm a bit concerned. Coutinho looked workd class the other night. Sturridge is fit. Sakho and that Lovejoy bloke looking very solid at the back. We'll need to be at our very best to get anything out of this. And we haven't - despite a handful of decent performances - really been at our besy very often this season.
They do a great all day breakfast On my way - just parked up. Jeez it's getting difficult to find free parking on match days now!
SAINTS: Forster; Martina, Fonte, Van Dijk, Bertrand; Clasie, Romeu, S. Davis; Long, Pellè, Tadić. Bench: Stekelenburg, Cédric, Yoshida, Wanyama, Ward-Prowse, Juanmi, Mané.
Gives us more strength in midfield which is where we need it today. Not much attacking force on the bench but I like the idea of Mané coming on to run rings round Lovren and Sakho.
I think Sahko is always a mistake waiting to happen, hopefully he can be pressurised by Long. Not sure about Tadic marking Lallana :s
