I hope there is no crap after the match. While I like the tension and the emotion involved in the derby, there is no need to act like a thick headed thug and go about knocking several shades of **** out of people.
Great day ..wish we had won..Met up with Smug before the game (he has just became a grand dad the nass..) Me and Sombrero kept in touch via our mobiles throughout ( he is a top lad by the way). Only wish that we had the bragging rights at the end of the day, but evens is OK with me.
Can't remember going to an away derby where there was less bother than today...Apart from a few youngens acting acting themselves, which the police soon sorted out, and a few plastic bottles being thrown by a few idiots from both sides, there was absolutely no trouble at all.. I did here a story regarding the driver of a car full of Newcastle fans driving alongside one of the Sunderland buses and the driver had his window down and he was yelling abuse and putting his fingers up. What he hadn't noticed was the cars in front of him had came to a halt and he drove into the back of a car..I haven't had this confirmed though..
We (United and City) had 11 arrests at the Emptyhad, yet our po-po are making out as if we are animals!
