I agree. We haven't seen a Brit like this since Eddie Irvine. I just love how he's had to fight on real equal terms in a close multi-team battle and against the robust, never say die Rosberg.
And by the way, both McLarens will podium tomorrow, closely followed by Joleon Palmer in the Renault.
I don't think the Merc are 8 tenths down the road. I think if Ferrari had gone again they would have trimmed it by a few tenths and the cool temperatures flattered to deceive. If it's hotter tomorrow it will be closer but the Merc is a monster and has to go down as one of the greatest cars ever.
