It was meant to be a bit tongue in cheek response. I should have put a smiley after it.:emoticon-0101-sadsm

I really think they should charge one flat fee for adults, say £30 per month, and one flat fee for concessions, say £12 per month. This would do away with stupid zones which are unfair. We all have preferred areas to sit and this would allow everyone to stay were they are, except the west uppers if that is to be closed.

All existing pass holders should be given the chance to keep their current seat or move to a vacant seat if they wish before opening the membership to everyone else.

At £360 a year for all adults and £144 for all kids we may actually require the use of the west upper anyway!

I quoted a post off of CI and some others who went to the FWG. Saying tis dynamic ticket pricing etc. WTF is all that i dont get it. I dont agree with someone being in the next block paying more. The next stand, fine its a different view.

They must have altered the definition of dynamic pricing, Chazz. This system is not dynamic pricing.

Apologies. He just said it was dynamic. Yet what was so positive at the FWG that they liked it. I know they didnt know the prices but what was it they liked?
    It was Nash off CI

A conversation with people from a group, that contain a variety of ages, means that unless they pay a lot more, they're going to be scattered around the ground. They sit near a similar group, which also forms part of an extended group.

Their current thinking is to walk away. That's two groups, each with more than 5 generations of City fans, along with the others that enjoyed socialising at football, all lost to the Club.

I wonder how it pans out for the Allams, if they were bound by the same considerations. They have grandchildren and pensioners all in the same group, but I think the bulk would amount to full price adults. They won't all qualify for the family stand, so the kids would be distanced from grandma and grandad (I know, I know in this case).

I know similar situations occurred in the last lot of evictions, where several sets of multi-generation fans have just walked away. I know the lack of support and understanding from fellow fans has left a bitter taste with quite a few.

One hell of a ****ing legacy.

I suppose if only certain bits and prices were mentioned it may have initially looked as though it could be appealing.
As always the devil is in the detail.

The only stand that anyone would be able to buy matchday tickets in would be the West Stand Upper. But I cannot see any members family based offers being in any stand other than the family stand.

You'll be able to buy tickets anywhere there's seats available. The West Upper will be match day only (if it's open), but you'll still be able to buy tickets elsewhere.

The prime idea that was popular, was the idea of an ongoing membership, rather than the traditional model of buying a pass for a season and then the club having to get people to agree to buy a new pass for the following season.

The way it was presented to us, the kids concessions would go, but the price was reduced so that an adult and child together would still be cheaper than a single adult pass was previously. That OAP concessions would also be scrapped, but the adult pass prices were being reduced so they'd end up paying about the same. Only the teenager category was considered an issue and this was still under review. What's now been announced obviously doesn't match that.

Do you think there will be family based offers anywhere other than the family stand?

My point really is that Chazz may not have to pay £30 to take his Daughter to the odd game. But the only place that would work is either West Stand Uppoer or in the Family Stand.

It's obviously not been announced yet, but I expect match day tickets to be £20, £25 and £30, with those prices based on which zone you're in.

The principal hasn't really changed, it's just the costs in several areas are more than expected and the reduction examples given to us seem to have been based on every concession pass holder moving into the cheapest seats, which isn't even physically possible.

No idea. Perhaps they picked the best figures so we all think it's a wonderful deal without checking the small print.
