Having earned a well deserved draw on Wednesday the Chairboys have stayed on in the North West and Gareth Ainsworth and Gary Thompson have been taken the rest of the lads on a nostalgic trip around their old stomping grounds including a trip to the Football Museum in Manchester and some light training in preparation for an important encounter with the Cumbrians at Brunton Park, the venue of our first ever game in the Football League. Gaz has no new injuries to worry about so will stick with the same squad as for the last two games, but he may freshen up the starting line up with Beano, Sido, Gozzie and Woody all pressing for a place. With ten games left we sit in the last of the playoff places and will be looking to cement that position, which will mean collecting close on twenty points by the 7th May and as our last two away games look tricky encounters this is a game we have to come away with a result and I fully expect the lads to be well prepared and to return south with at least a point
The #Chairboys have signed #avfc keeper @BenSiegrist92 on loan for the rest of the season. He's on the bench today. #CARvWYC
LINE UP: Allsop, McCarthy, Jacobson, Pierre, Stewart, Bean, McGinn, O'Nien, Thompson, Wood, Ugwu #CARvWYC
He's on loan from Villa as cover for Alsopp until the end of the season. Makes sense i suppose with what happened to Ingram just before the play offs last season otherwise Richardson could have been our only keeper if our keeper got injured if we do finish in 7th.
