YES I AM. As per first post on this thread. But i do expect Sean Long to be gone before the end of August (Liverpool the latest club to sniff around him after Newcastle) and Kebe will also be attracting interest. IMO, without Long you can forget Reading for the top 6.
I can't see Leicester, Leeds, Forest challenging the top 6 far too many changes to hit the ground running. I may be wrong, but there's little evidence to suggest it works elsewhere. West Ham will blow the league apart they've kept some decent players and signed some decent players. Leicester seem to have spent a **** load of cash and have Sean St Ledger, Lee Peltier, some **** ex Leeds keeper, the only 2 players at Leicester I'd have been happy signing is Danns and Nugent. The rest over priced ****e. Haven't Cardiff lost loads of players too? I think we're looking 'ok' I'd still like another centre forward and another centre half. Players to step up to the plate this season McClean, Cairney and Simpson.
Once the ALLAMS have terminated Bullards contract that will free up almost 50k a week for starters. Apart from Ayala being the centre half, I am sure that NP has other targets already up his sleeve.
Cardiff have lost players, but they've replaced Bothroyd and Chopra with Miller and Earnshaw which I think gives them a better front two. Obviously there's others to be replaced but they don't seem to be as financially knackered as all the departures suggested.
The game on Sunday 7th August WEST HAM UTD v. CARDIFF CITY Live on sky will be an interesting watch. In fact looking at Blackpools squad now, the Opening game with them should be a good yardstick for Hull City.
Unfortunately your getting a bit of stick because of the arrogant Leicester wums we usually get on this board. Maybe you could start a thread on your board to suggest some of them get their d***s out of their own ar5es. Anyway I think on paper your lot should be among the automatic favourites, but it's pretty rare for teams that try to buy instant success to be instantly successful (Man City, Cardiff etc). Leicester will become a bit of a scalp next season and people will enjoy seeing you lose, so it could all backfire.
If the Allams are paying Bullard......how will this then be available for NP? Once he goes (if) the Allams will then close that compartment on their wallet. Surely?
