According to one interview with Ehab, not sure which one, we are due to make a loss this year. Not enough to worry the fair play rules. As a result I expect an increase in debt this year.

In which case not sure why they didn't push the boat out a few extra million to sign Gray and others to ensure promotion.

Because they have no idea on how to run a football club.

Because they say that if we don't go up this season the loss will be offset by our parachute payments being increased next season in line with the new PL TV deal (that change to how things work is news to me). Of course what crowds they were basing that on us getting I don't know.

Yeah think they're clueless on that one too, we don't get any extra parachute payments I don't think.

Fairly sure we get the parachute payments attached to our TV deal, not the next one.

No, but for different reasons to the ones the Allams think

    http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jun/02/parachute-payments-clubs-relegated-premier-league

"The new rules will not affect the three clubs most recently relegated from the top flight – Hull, QPR and Burnley. They will receive £64m split over four years – £24m in the first year, then £19.3m, then £9.6m for each of the next two years."

So £4.7M less next season. It's a good job we're not making a loss this year that we plan to offset with the increase in parachute payments next year...oh.

It seems every time we're near the top of the Championship there's some right weird results meaning low points for promotion/playoffs!

Just b een working it out. Uruguay play at 12am on Wed 30th. Its over 14 hours to fly into London after the game. Doubt he will fly until the morning. He's got to get back to Hull too.
Basically he's going to be too ****ed to play on the Saturday against Bristol when he gets back.

Get two forwards signed Brucey ASAP

Do you EVER engage your brain before replying to a post? I don't mention ''brum'' in my post, my post is regarding Villa's ****ish, delusional fans - the majority of them will be contemplating managers with far greater kudos than the middle ranking Steve Bruce ......... do keep up SnydeyTiger.

I do. You mentioned the fact Villa fans wouldn't accept Bruce, a manager who has managed bigger clubs than McLeish. Do you ever engage your brain?

Careful, you shouldn't accuse people of that without any proof.
