Can I start the internet wind up that Rosberg has nothing now that the pit radio has been taken away? I'm sure it won't be long before a sky-esk media outlet goes with a similar story. Toto thinks the new format is 'rubbish', hopefully they can all come out and say it, surely the powers at be will listen if everyone says it. Need to get the paddock club on side! I'm guessing Vettel will bring it up to in the driver interviews. He usually does
Toto: "I'm one of those who doesn't want to say bad things on the TV and that we should discuss in private. The qualifying however is pretty rubbish"
So they were just sandbagging then. All winter. Mental, no need to do the f1 fans over like that though. Building up all the hysteria and excitement. Both Mercedes and Ferrari let me down.
Sandbagging (teabagging) is nothing new... They're not obliged to show their pace in testing. Looks like another dullfest though.
I suggest you all join me in watching the 2016 Indy season... really, the past few seasons have been way more exciting than F1.
Can't argue with either of those. They just don't have the occasional Super Speedway thrown in for good measure.
It's time for f1 to have a complete overhaul. Some of the f1 concepts with reduced aero need to be seriously looked at.. Some big meaty tyres, an emphasis on mechanical grip and some ballsy drivers on real tracks. Tear up what we have and reinvent the sport. It's been stuck in a box for way too long now.
I knew Mercedes had more up their sleeve but was hoping so did Ferrari. I remember seeing the Merc from the Barca footage and it was on rails then, like the Red Bulls used to be in their dominant years. It could be an utter snooze fest unless Ferrari show some race pace.
