Er, Bruce could actually pick a decent side to win the game, not 6 midfielders.

Knew you'd quote that shot count. Which included about half a dozen if not more shots from outside the box that never threatened. Did you actually watch the game?

 

So if we had 11 shots at goal! It means his tactics of getting into shooting chances worked then didn't they? On last nights performance you can't have a go at SB! I know HAT does because he doesn't like him! But if you were just a casual fan watching the game you'd ha e thought we were the better side! It's only because you're a fan you need someone to blame! Blame elmo for missing his chance if you want?

 

Well no, since as I pointed out, the majority of our shots weren't ever likely to result in goals but were speculative efforts from outside the box..

I hate myself for it, but, I'm starting to think he needs to go, for both our sake. I'd rather he left at the end of the season mind. I accept we're now unlikely to get into the Autos, and the playoffs will be a challenge for us given our inability to score goals.

LIke Lambo says, new manager, this team with a few tweaks, the Championship would be quite fun next season.

I'm sure you'll all get your wish in the summer! But you can't say he should go on last nights performance? We played well & sometimes it's the players who should shoulder a bit of the blame! 9 games to go & we need everyone pulling in the same direction! the MK game we had boos at half time & chants of " Steve Bruce" in the 2nd half!

 

So if we'd have won or drawn last night you'd all have kept your powder dry for another day?

 

And in no time, we could resurrect this thread, just editing the managers name. Players are possibly easier to manage than fans expectations. Mind you, boro fans seem to still back the team with support week in week out..

1200 last night for a team pushing for the Prem was piss poor - fans are totally sick of being ****ed about by the Allams and Brucie's ****e negative football, - people are losing interest in watching the team and Allam's new Earn your Stripes initiative will probably be the last straw for many who will find themselves evicted for the second time - if we don't get promotion this year we'll be down to 10k - new owners and new manager needed asap

 

I'd have to be honest and say I agree with you but on the grounds that he's had a belly full and can't do any more. The players he wants and needs will not come here but didn't he sign a new contract keeping him here until 2018? I guess there could be a 'mutual' parting of the ways especially if another offer came along.

 

It's all well and good saying you'd rather see a new manager but that's always after he fails and never before.

Maybe you could tell us where he's got it wrong before he does?

 

I didn't say I'd like to see a new Manager Hatty, for Christ say read people's posts properly, I said I think he has had a belly full.

 

This. If we go up it'd be pushing him out the door, if we don't he'll walk, but either way I'd want a new manager next season.
