I would have started Aluko and Hernandez together and put Diame in midfield. Heck, if he's set on dropping Hernandez, go to a 4-3-3 formation that gives a bit more attacking strength.

He tried to sign Gray, why the money was not made available isnt his fault, it's down to the Allams. If we had of signed Rhodes and he performed like he has at boro then everyone would be cursing Bruce for another crap signing. He's been absolutely terrible. After not signing Gray Bruce has taken some gambles with Akpom, Powell and Diomande, you can understand his logic for all three but unfortunately none of them have paid off.
