I took my youngest a couple of years ago it was a bloody chore driving there - the last few mile was hell ,took nearly two hours to get into the car park - avoid the fast food stalls and the sites restaurants -there is a stately home within the ground that has a independent restaurant - the food was excellent and well priced compared to the crap was in the fast food outlets - they served alcohol as well

The best part of going to Flamingo land is the climb up Sutton Bank.....and the descent <hairy>

Was that right at the top end where the monorail ends where the petting zoo is with goats n ****? There was an interdependent place there that did propper grub and had a bar, but it didn't look like a stately home. Could have joined onto one though.

Maybe it wasn't a stately home mate - probably just seemed like it compared to the rest of the site <laugh> - I added the pdf link above

Flamingo Land is ok, we've been maybe five times in the past ten years. Some of the rides are mental, that mini-rollercoaster that goes upside down.....no thanks <wimp>

I tend to let all my lot go on the rides and I look after the bags <cop out>

some of those bloody rides just make me feel ill- I even get motion sickness on the small kids 'merry- go- round' -even though the rest my family had fun and happily waved at me as they whizzed on by
