A lucky draw by the sound of it. We were battered in the second half. One good thing was that Kiss sounds like a good player.

Well I would hope to see some daylight come the Parma game.
Hopefully now Malky has sorted the chaf from the wheat and we get to see what kind of shape we will be in ready for the start of the season.

20 players used tonight, should have our best team out for Parma.

I think he will carry on like he has done for all of the friendlies, will use 20 players against Parma and keep us all guessing for the Hammers game.

I see MM is still raping his former club ! Is he trying to transplant watford to Cardiff! Surely he should be fishing in a bigger pond !! Not leaving Sean with much back room staff!!

I am starting to think this Malkay is a lot smarter than I thought he was.

Second half he deliberately weakens the midfield after controlling the game in the second half...so the defence had to work.

Miller was never going to be sent on to play just to be with the team and have a run about for ten minutes.

The team spirit is being built and the work ethic introduced, you do not work you do not play will be the order of the day now...that would have ruled out Bothroyd for the second half of last season then.

Helo aber long time no see pal! He wouldnt have been sacked at the Vic not for at least a couple of years ! I think he has a far higher chance of being sacked at Cardiff ,especially after what happened to Jonesy! However you chase the bigger wages you get the bigger pressure!
What I dont get is why he is trying to move Vicarage road to Cardiff , I mean we hardly ripped the league apart last season , we did well by our standards and we were happy with mid table and survival! All the back room staff you have taken were buying into that attitude! I thought you guys were going for promotion Aber! So replacing your coaching staff with Watfords seems to be a retrograde step!
Your last sentence I wont bother with suffice to say we are actually struggling yet have still got two dogs out a rescue centre , a house that has flooded twice recently insurance companies that wont pay out ,hence extension leads all over the place!
Nice to chat again Aber dont be a stranger!
Mrs N is disabled , yet what we have we share to kids friends

Hope your luck changes Norway, certainly sounds as if you need a change in fortunes. Take care and all the best.

    I endorse Ronny's comments.

Time for a bit of humble pie Aber. You can put a few of your favourite herbs in to soften the message though.

Back on thread though Norway. Malky obviously rated his back room guys at Watford hence the exodus to South Wales. Up to a point Watford had a great season, giving us a pasting along the way and also making it tough for us at our place with the score not really reflecting the game. However, maybe Watford's limitations to progress were in the boardroom, the bank account and empty spaces in the stands. He had to move on to match his ambition and if the manner in which the backroom guys were contracted to Watford enabled him to get his favoured team around him then that is business.

Personally I hope Dyche can get your guys playing well again and making a valuable contribution to the division. <ok>

Dave Jones was given 7 years here!!! Not exactly the actions of a club that have a sacking mentality.
