finally got to see the highlights and happy to see we are now showing signs of getting results when not on top form..
loved Couts finish and jeez how many challenges did Sakho make cleanly

Are you serious? we couldn't have picked it better ourselves. Klopp knows this team like the back of his hand. So no worries.

Me too. Away in 2nd leg has potentially unfair 30 extra minutes to get away goals that count double.

  5. Not that. If the first leg ends without us scoring, you start the second leg worried about conceding.

Away in the second leg means you can always score more away goals.

    Good news is:

If we beat Dortmund we'll probably be favourites for the cup.

/ no I'm not expecting to beat them

I really don't mind which way it goes.

Away tie first has advantages. You can secure an away goal. you can make a team feel like its not worth travelling

being home first has advantages. you can got hard at it and go for win.

home tie second means you can play controlled game at home.

I honestly think it doesn't really matter. its about not getting beaten in either tie anyway.

Worry about conceding at home regardless. :(

I'm curious if there's any statistics about who usually wins. Home leg first or homeleg 2nd. I'd suspect it's not a huge difference but those extra 30 mins Away gives advantage in favour of home leg 1st.

Third favourites only because of Dortmund. Once we beat them, we'll be clear favourites. <ok>

  12. We were joint third favourites alongside Man Utd and Spurs before the last sixteen games

  13. Sevilla are ahead of us. if they progress too?

those extra 30 rearely come into it.

If a game is ties after 2 legs the home sides suually shut it down.

for example lets look at CL this week

the juve v bayern game. that was a rarity. very very unusual to see two 2-2 draws so it went to extra time and the home side had a huge crowd advantage to push in extra time and scored 2.

Look then at atletico v psv... 0-0 in both legs... goes to pens.

that killer away goal in extra time is not that common and the away goal in extra time can be countered by saying you've the crowd on your side in extra time when at home wand for pens too which can be a little advantage.

LFC are third because we are playing against the current favourites. Playing any other side we would have been second.
