Watching City isn't simply attending a sporting event, it's a social occasion and having the same people around you at every game is a significant part of that, there's communities of fans all around the ground.

I've already said I support the notion of being able to continue sitting with the same people because it's wrong to split people up.

I guess why I'm scratching my head is I've already said I sympathise about the fact these 'communities' will be broken up, and I think that's wrong. I do feel for fans for that happening and hope it can get sorted out.

A friend of mine, recently retired, has been following City for well over 60 years. He has sat in the same seat since the KC opened, has long standing friends next to him and around him. They get to games early because to them (and many others) it is a social gathering that has the added benefit of watching their beloved football team. His seat will become part of the corporate area and he doesn't know whether it will be available to him next season and even if it is, his cost will at least double. Many of the people around him will be priced out. Part of the enjoyment of attending games is the social occasion and he is absolutely livid that his loyalty and devotion means absolutely nothing to the people running the club.

We seem to keep coming back to the community aspect which I've already agreed I sympathise with and hope it can be rectified, so how about we just leave it at that.

You don't need to attend any meetings Filey, although obviously people are welcome to attend the events we do put on. The Trust is more about representing your views wherever you are. Obviously the more members we have the more people such as the club have to listen to us. We'd love you to join and it's only a fiver.

Being a member of the trust doesn't require you to attend any meetings, most members have never attended a meeting.

Work is dull at the moment so I'm listening back to old Amber and Nectar podcasts, and I am disappointed in myself that I didn't make an effort to attend some CTWD meetings while I was over there, but I was very out of the loop. Closest I got I think was a bloke at Swansea away giving me his 'No to Hull Tigers' scarf!

Do you not understand that if you commission someone to devise/design a ticket and membership programme for your business, which you then decide to broadcast and adopt, then that is also your policy? Are you simply being argumentative or just bloody dim? You seem to be bending over backwards to be obtuse and it's boring.

The Allam's didn't devise the policy is all I have said and all I will say. You have agreed on that point, so I'm not the one being argumentative.

Surely this new membership scheme is doomed to failure unless the ground is full or nearly almost full. I can see it working at clubs like Man utd, Arsenal. the NFL or NBA for example - where there is a waiting list to get into the ground. If we were mid-table championship and not in a chance of promotion, what's to stop anyone cancelling their membership? Okay, there's a 'fine' to pay but would be cheaper than paying monthly to the end of the season. I'd still go but I'm sure plenty wouldn't. At the moment paying up front means no loss of revenue to the club. The point is that if people left and there was a waiting list to get a seat, somebody would go to the back of the queue at that point having cancelled. Not much chance of that at City is there.

Also, have the Allams realised that it's not just a matter of evicting the West and South and locating them to potential seats where there are families in say the East or North. What if those people decide that for the sake of a few quid a month they don't want to move to the Family Stand?

I wasn't seriously accusing you of being an Allam apologist, but, as I read the thread from quite early and followed the flow so as to catch-up on an important issue, it seem did seem you were rather defensive of them. That's clear now, thanks.

I take it you are acting as the NOT606 rep in asking the questions on email? Has Mooney (or someone else within the cub) asked you for feedback or are you simply exercising your personal relationship with Mooney to garner information on where this is all going?

You know what they say about posing a problem - it is mostly better received with a solution. Have you offered one, or do you see one? I like the idea of a membership scheme, but abhor one at the expense of juniors. However, I do think Juniors could do to be redefined.

I am not surprised by their admittance that a sale is not imminent, but I was always surprised, that for a second year running, you kept insisting that many folks concerns were unnecessary, as a sale within months would eliminate the Allam issues - someone within your sources was obviously feeding you bollocks, or is that wrong?

That's bollocks as it is not all that you have said - you have said it is not their policy. A communist does not have to invent communism to adopt the policy of communism, do you not agree with that. Unless you are prepared to defend you criticisms then you are arguing for the sake of it. Grow up.

If I used the phrase "It's not the Allams policy" it was meant in the sense that it was not a policy created by the Allams. Apologies for any confusion.

I understand, but I am a member and do not attend most games or meetings. As PLT says, give it a go; you have an opinion that embraces many aspects that befall a fan-base and your input is important and valued. Glad you're doing okay. <ok>

They don't really need to ask me for feedback, they know I'll tell them what I think whether I'm asked or not and that obviously includes feeding back the responses on here and on social media. I've not proposed anything specific, I've just told them that there are too many people falling foul of the proposed new arrangements and I think it needs a rethink.

I posted a while back that I thought there wasn't a cat in hell's chance of the Allams selling up until we were promoted, I was told I was wrong and that there was serious interest without promotion, but it obviously hasn't happened.
