    Credit to Scholes. First none liverpool fan to point out that Liverpool should be considered for top four of Man Utd are because (a) we go level with them if we win the game in hand, and (b) we are one of the form teams atm

    Well done on a super result. So can certain things be repeated 50 years on, such as a Borussia v Liverpool European final, Everton winning the FA Cup (long overdue) and last but not least, England win an international football tournament?

    My whole being senses Borussia v Liverpool in the final, but my heart dearly wishes Athletic Bilbao in the final and winning it because unlike all the other clubs, their philosophy is to pick players born and bred in the Pais Vasco region of France and Spain, and obviously those whose heritage is Basque. I think we aare going to be disappointed in not seeing Inaki Williams as he has a serious injury picked up a few weeks ago. Hope he recovers well as he is a supreme talent. Indeed, your club have been looking at him.

    As for the draw, you could do a lot worse than to go to Braga and spend a few days in the Portuguese sunshine.

    Dont get on here much anymore, but im always lurking in the wings like some kind of football crazed phantom of the opera. Really enjoyed tonight though. Not as good a performance as last week, but importantly we are beginning to look solid. Hopefully our defensive shakes are slowly being worked out by Jurgen the German.

    If we win Europa, city win the CL and we both finish outside top 4... 4th place would drop into Europa.
    How ow hilarious would it be if that happened and Arsenal got their usual 4th place trophy... Or even United got 4thn <laugh>
