That is probably Sakho's best game for us. He was immense tonight and timed his tackles perfectly. Lovren looks better alongside him as well. Skerts will struggle to get his place back if they both stay fit

 

Same team today with Origi up front instead of Studge, if Moreno is fit to play then I'm sure he'll come back in too.

 

This! I've defended Lovern quite a recently. Most improved player under Klopp imo. Lallana add been much better since the German arrived too.

Can was very good tonight, he kept Felliani under control (although the ref should have done that!)

Coutinho was poor until the goal. Confidence boost saw him play better but no where near his best imo

Studge and Firmino were poor.

I do think it's interesting that klopp as a defender has inspired lovern and made him feel there's a chance here. He's allowed a basically solid defender be a defender rather than rodgers bolloxology about being a passed and creator.

Lovern just been pretty solid.

The centre of the team were good. Milner was OK at lb
Clyne had a total nightmare..... we need to take a look at that and why.

Can and henderson were not too bad as CMs

Firmino with sturridge hasn't worked yet again and when sturridge goes off firmino does look a better player. We need to look at this too.

Lallana came into it more as Utd tired and he basically out ran them.

Coutinho produced and had a mixed bag but compared to utd lot he was on fire.

I think allen came in and showed tactical nouse. Very useful to have. Pity he's made of glass and a light short player.

Giggs worried about getting job next year so wants caretaker role now to try and win cup and get 4th. (Deluded) so he will get the job.
