Dortmund making some very poor challenges, at the moment. They look upset about something and they're getting niggly, especially with Lamela.
Even when we're playing well and putting together some decent moves, we still don't look like scoring. Nowhere near enough goal threat without Kane.

Personally, when our front 6 of Dembele, Dier, Alli, Eriksen, Lamela and Kane sees 1 or more of those players missing for whatever reason, we are significantly weaker, IMO. Mason, chadli, son and Carroll to choose 4 examples, are way behind the quality IMO.
I'm not sure that it's about quality, so much as a lack of direct replacements for a number of them. We don't have another holding midfielder or striker and we tend to use players out of position. Our shape suffers and we lack any goal threat, while being exposed at the back. The squad needs rebalancing.
Yeah a bit of that too, which doesn't help. But 1 or 2 aren't great in their preferred position either!
I gave up watching on the BT Sport site and have watched it on a French channel to avoid listening to the absolutely awful commentary of Savage. Can we have a petition to have him deported
1-2 FT. Poor and a little pointless. Both legs had mixed sides, far from full strength, but with enough first team players to tire out some important legs. Really can't understand the selections. Shows up the gaps in our squad, I guess. Need to sort that out in the summer. Wonder if Pochettino will have any money?
