Despite how awesome Dortmund are, I'm always gonna wonder how we'd have got on if we'd played our strongest 11 in both games. They are a top class team, but we are so much more capable of causing them problems. We've had no target man in either game to give their defence anything to think about. At times we've just invited pressure, and a team like Dortmund are always going to capitalise on that. I'm not denying that they are better. But having Harry Kane to worry about and dembele to play alongside Dier protecting the back 4 would have made this so different. We may well still be losing, but I bet it wouldn't be by 4. Attack starts from defence and their defence hasn't had to get out of first gear or had a worry in 135mins of football.
