Anyone got any tips for this week?
I just lumped a bit on Annie Power and it came in.
Have a feeling Ruby will have a good week....

Had a decent day today with Altior and Minella Rocco.

I was opposing Annie Power with My Tent Or Yours but was beaten by the better animal.

I quite like the look of Hunters Hoof today. Got on at 33/1. Into 16's now. The other I like at a price is Duke Street at 25/1. I've also had a little nibble each way on Fixe Le Kap in the same race.

I'd like Sprinter Sacre to win today but I think Un De Sceaux will.

Not keen on the opener as a betting forum. I liked what I'd seen of A Toi Phil in Ireland, and the price of O O Seven makes no real sense.

I like No More Heroes in the 2nd race.

Enda Bolger will probably take the cross country, but I quite like the class Dolatulo has run in given what he is up against today. The issue is his experience over marathon trips. Sometimes the nature of them hacking round cross country helps them to stay but I think it often just goes to a thorough stayer like Josies Order.

Not a dry eye in the house when Sprinter Sacre came home magnificently. I didn't back a thing at the Festival today as I didn't like anything in the day's meeting though I did that SS in a competition entry.

All in all, it's a poor day's racing overall. And when I find that the better two horses of the day are in a maiden and a seller you just know it's not a good day for backing anything.

Looked to be all class to me, I had believed till then that glasses were for drinking from, I would imagine they wash them first , I had thought up till then that glasses were for drinking from, I suppose they would rinse them before they are used again

    1.30 Garde le Victoire
    2.10 Leave at Dawn
    2.50 Vantour
    3.30 Thistlecrack
    4.10 Art Maresque
    4.50 Limini
    5.30 Cause of Causes

Not confident at all today and I think the fact I like most of the market leaders worries me a little as they are open races so I think I’ll probably go easy. I quite like Art Maresque for Nicholls though, just think the ground will see him in a different light altogether.

In a tipping competition that I am in, I am currently in third (and was leading until the last race yesterday) these are my selections. None of which I have backed.

    1.30 - Garde La Victoire
    2.10 - If In Doubt
    2.50 - Josses Hill
    3.30 - Bob`s Worth
    4.10 - Tango De Juilley
    4.50 - Smart Talk
    5.30 - Sambremont

As with all competitions it's not just about finding the odds-on winner but something which is going to give a better return.

Elsewhere there are two at Hexham that I like as well as something my system has thrown up: two in Wexford and one at the old Great Leighs. So rather a busy day today. I won't be watching the Cheltenham today as I have running repairs to do on the motorhome before we can move tomorrow.

Good luck all and hope you find the short queue.

Well a sneaky treble on Limini, Vantour and Thistlecrack did the trick today. Didn't get masses at the prices but tidy enough.

Well done. The closes I got was a 10/1 third when Johnson's horse was hampered and was unlucky not to win. And then Venetia:emoticon-0152-heart's horse gave me a second at 33/1.

So in the competition I have stumbled somewhat.

I was bang wrong about Art Maresque though! That Cause of Causes which I have been waiting to back all week was a nice bonus to end the day.
