If they really wanted rid they'd set the price to sell. The only obvious conclusion is that they don't want to!
Would you write off £50 million or £60 million just to sell? If the answer is no then you have to wait until the debt is repaid or someone is daft enough to meet the full price. If we don't get promoted getting their money back becomes more difficult as does managing the budget.
Might I suggest that to maximise revenue, some kind of pop up shop or refreshments outlet could be installed in the Directors car park where those 5 or 6 empty car spaces are coned off?
Some posters beat me to it. Why don't they just **** off. I am so tired of hearing the same old crap. What would be the best result for us supporters? If it's going up so they can get their money back I hope we do it but like others I am not convinced they are the remotest bit serious about selling. So if that is the case I hope we miss out and then do we carry on as uncomfortable bedfellows?
Sounds like going up makes them more likely to sell. Which makes City's form all the more concerning.
Reads to me that it's dependent on promotion, in which case I'm staggered there hasn't been any sort of outlay in January to fix our deficiencies.
Are you sure that's not Adam Johnson's car you're thinking of? In The Know Allams' legacy: Pro's -1st/only FA Cup Final and highest ever league placing 2 years ago -allowing Bruce to put together probably the best squad in our history Con's -North end of East Stand, West Upper, South Stand (without kids) made to move to other areas of the ground -Disabled, OAP, children, young adults made to pay full adult prices (the last group don't get full minimum wage) -debt up to around 150% of what they were obligated to when they took over (immediate plus future commitments was about £50M, we were over £60M in last accounts and Ehab has already said we budgetted to lose money this year to keep the squad together) -charging the club more for the debt to them than the almost universally criticised Mike Ashley charges Newcastle -numerous runins with the Council, including attempting to defraud them as "part of the PR" over the Airco Arena -putting trampoline club's property on ebay without the right to do so -calling their own club's fans hooligans and saying they can go and die when they want before then claiming 40 years living here wasn't long enough to avoid a lost in translation misunderstanding -spending ASI money on opposition fans rather than our own and then telling the other 19 clubs that they were all wrong about the intention of the rule at least 14 (probably 17) of those other clubs had been involved in writing/agreeing as PL members at the time -huge increase in our ticket prices over a short space of time, followed by criticising fan friendly initiatives like the £30 away cap* -adding the above to ticket tax, and making tickets as difficult as possible to obtain, we're currently 4th in the Championship and our average attendance this season is the second lowest for full seasons at the KC, lower than we've ever had at this level and even lower than when we were in L1. This is despite us having probably the best available squad in the club's history (if you consider Snodgrass missed last season, Diame effectively missed from October, etc) *incidentally, as there are no concessions for memberships which they're pretending is down to huge numbers of adults using child tickets, the same will presumably apply to matchday tickets as well. As Ehab has said £30 isn't high enough if we go up we'll presumably charge the maximum, so away fans will be greeted with £30 a kid tickets to come here. Also, by pricing out families now, the legacy the Allams are leaving is another missing generation of fans like we got in the 90s. Thanks to the tightening of FFP rules as time goes on, what that could result in is the next owners being unable to match the on pitch performance for a long time, as to avoid the penalties they need to take their time to win those fans back and rebuild the fanbase so that it supports what they want to do.
Are you trying to suggest they don't plan to sell the club now, or that they omitted the "big enough offer" part at the time as a bullying tactic to try to scare people into following their **** idea?
Massive attention seekers, like somebody said big game tonight and its like oh we havnt had any publicity lately lets do an interview Nobodys going to buy a club who dont own there own ground
Is it? What has the KP being bought by their owners got to do with our ground? HCC owning it has absolutely everything to do with ours.
Because the original remark was made in response to someone asking who would buy a club which doesn't own their ground. The Leicester owners did. And anyone wanting to buy all but a couple of Italian clubs would.
