Not happening sorry. We will only get a manager when Wenger decides to go. It's a shame because we missed out on two elite managers in Klopp and Pep, when Wenger should have gone.

Though i do sense that next season will be his last. He's being shown up this season and next season will be even worse when Pep comes in, Klopp gets some of his own players and ditches the trash, Manure gets Maureen, Spurs will stay strong as long as Pikachu stays. and Chelsea get back to their usual selves. It WILL get worse for Wenger, that is for sure.

Post-highbury arsenal is a true reflection of Arsene's personality. We need a manager that is a fighter. A young, energetic and dynamic coach. Simeone is my preferred choice. A manager that will demand 150% effort and commitment every ****ing time!

I wouldn't really want Simeone to be honest. Purely because his sides are boring to watch.

Personally I would like to see Joachim Loew given a chance or perhaps De Boer.

    What has Joachim Loew achieved?

All his club stints have been average or poor

He gave the youth a chance and plays attractive football but he had the german talent pool and by the time he won the world cup they were outright favourites for it while their only credible rivals spain floundered in groupstage,he even had a surprise at the hands of Italy in the Euro 2012.

Our big managerial miss was definitely Klopp, because he could have stayed for a long time and given us stability and success,Pep will just jump on after 3 years.

Sorry, not enough smileys to show I was joking. If it's a real war between Gooners I always stay out and enjoy the entertainment

I just think what we need at the moment is a good coach. The squad is pretty decent and Loew is a great motivator and tactician.

I disagree. Much as I like Klopp as a personality his record at Dortmund isn't actually that impressive.

    Gordon Bennett seriously?
    • 2 Bundesliga titles: 2010–11, 2011–12
    • 1 Pokal cup:2011–12
    • 2 Super cups: 2013, 2014
    • Champions League: Runner up 2013, being narrowly beaten by Bayern Munich
    • German Football Manager of the Year: 2011, 2012
    • FIFA World Coach of the Year – Second Place: 2013
And this against a behemoth of a team in Bayern Munich, which was far superior to every Premiership team in that period and limited resources.

He is one of the best managers in the Premiership and in the world, there is no question there.

Loew is staying with Germany until the world cup 2018, so that rules him out. Wenger cannot possibly remain at this club for another 2 years, his latest contract will be his last, hopefully it can be cut 1 year earlier and he doesn't see it out until 2017.

I think the majority here would have taken Klopp, including the staunch Wenger supporters. He has a proven track record and is one of the best motivators, something our Manager sadly lacks. I have no doubt that if Klopp was on our coaching staff, our season wouldn't have nosedived so badly in the second half. Wenger leaves too much to our players and if you don't have strong figure heads like Adams, Vieria etc, then you need to do more as a manager. I don't think the manager quite gets it.

Simply not happening. Although we aren't lighting the season on fire, we aren't doing badly either. It's probably a par overall. Also, for a change to happen, there needs to be a financial reason too, which is not a problem when we secure another top 4 finish. I also doubt the management have gone out and looked for anyone either. The decision is Wenger's solely. He isn't an elite manager anymore, but he's good enough to get Arsenal regular top 4's, which appears to be the main aim for the CEO and shareholders. He's a valuable business commodity, and they would be crazy to let him go.

Have to disagree with this based on all games throughout the last five seasons. We are doing badly and the stats below back that up It looks bad frequently when you watch us play. The results we've had are quite bad. And I don't remember too many great performances by the team, or great individual performances by players.

    Win %
    2015/16 - 50%
    2014/15 - 62%
    2013/14 - 63%
    2012/13 - 55%
    2011/12 - 57%

    Loss %
    2015/16 - 32%
    2014/15 - 18%
    2013/14 - 20%
    2012/13 - 21%
    2011/12 - 26%

    Goals scored per game
    2015/16 - 1.6
    2014/15 - 2.0
    2013/14 - 1.8
    2012/13 - 2.0
    2011/12 - 1.8

    Goals conceded per game:
    2015/16 - 1.2
    2014/15 - 1.0
    2013/14 - 1.0
    2012/13 - 1.1
    2011/12 - 1.3

    Mean GD per game:
    2015/16 - +0.4
    2014/15 - +1.0
    2013/14 - +0.8
    2012/13 - +0.8
    2011/12 - +0.5

Near enough every stat tells you this season has been cr@p. The only recent season that runs it close for cr@pness was 2011/12 and that was the year we got dicked 8-2 by United.

The only promising things about this season so far are:
    • Cech
    • Ozil producing the goods quite frequently
    • Bellerin making the RB position his own
    • Iwobi looking a real talent
    Other than that I'm struggling.

The longer he stays, the more discontent and a toxic atmosphere will be created, so if him and the club are dumb enough to give it another year, then that it is all on their heads. And it will be worst for the board than Wenger, hopefully it gets to such a bad level like it did at Liverpool, and we can force the owner out as well.

At the rate we are going, we could end up out of the top 4 quite easily, so would hold back on 'we aren't doing badly either', our form in the last 3 months has been toilet quality, and relegation material, in 8 games in all competitions, we have only won 1, in 15 games total we have only won 4, in our last 9 league games we have only won 2, and the awful stats just keep going and going, and the odds are the slump will extend to Everton on Saturday.

It'll be hilarious if we don't make top 4 on the board and this manager who have set it as their barometer for measuring success.

Yes there is a question we will see how he does in the EPL. Like I said earlier I like Klopp but the reality is Dortmund are the second biggest Club in Germany and there only real rival is Bayern. When Guardiola came into Germany Dortmund were barely even competitive anymore such was Bayerns superiority.

The EPL is a tougher prospect as soo many Clubs have the financial muscle to fight for the top players.

I have to agree with BEAR on this, or at least in part, Liverpool are not better than they were under rogers, surely if klopp is a world class coach he should be able to make the same team better. People keep going on about how he will be great once he gets his own players in (we will have to wait and see) but all that really proves is that he is better at buying players that rogers was (would not be difficult). Liverpool still have some very good players, and klopp has made little difference to then in my opinion. Over the long term he may prove a success, but people are still blinded by him reputation, I prefer to look at what is currently happening, and I don't see Liverpool being any better that the last few years.

It's not his fault for inheriting some poor players. I don't think he would have bought half of those rejects. Add to the fact he hasn't had one decent striker available, and his main one Strurridge, has been a constant injury absentee. Give him time to stamp his authority on the team at least. Fergie didn't start off well but became a Premiership legend..

In my opinion, Liverpool's squad are inferior to Arsenal, City, Chelsea, manure and Spurs

The stats show that Klopp has improved Liverpool. Competitive Liverpool games since start of 2014/15:

    Win
    Rodgers: 42.0%
    Klopp 46.0%

    Lose
    Rodgers: 31.9%
    Klopp 21.6%

    Goals scored per game
    Rodgers 1.2
    Klopp 1.5

    Goals conceded per game
    Rodgers 1.2
    Klopp 1.0

    Mean GD per game
    Rodgers 0.0
    Klopp +0.5

Some of them are vaguely close but Klopp is doing better. He wins more games. He loses less games. He scores more goals. He concedes less goals. Not only that, Klopp's doing better with players Rodgers signed than Rodgers could do with players Rodgers signed. And if you just look at 2015/16 games (so only include the games Rodgers was in charge for in 2015/16) then the stats favour Klopp even more.

To say Liverpool haven't improved is utterly false.

I think Klopp will do well with Liverpool. He's only been there a short time and already they look like they are starting to play the way he wants them to. He's a proven manager, I'd expect Liverpool to do well next season given a transfer window where he can buy some players that he wants.
