There'll be a fee to rejoin, to dissuade people from doing that, there'll also be loyalty rewards that you'll lose if there's any break in your membership.
I will wait for the booklet next week but cant see anything changing, some will benefit but at the same time I think many long term fans will leave and I do think from the reaction on here, the radio, a couple of neighbours and a few at work it will be a shock to the club. Any new fans who think they are going to get cheap passes might not find it that easy but the cheap zones are fantastic value and will go quickly. For an adult going on their own or with other adults then I think were ever you sit compared to this season is cheaper so its much better for adults without teenagers, OAP's ect. But in these groups fans who have been going for many years or ones we are trying to encourage for the future then I see many leaving plus some parents with kids will go, Its all very sad because many are people who love the club and it will be heart breaking for some. I would imagine has well that all the corners of the ground will be full with but many of the blocks towards the middle half empty, how can you justify around a £250 difference when sitting in different parts of the east stand yes make it different prices but not that much. I do think a price decrease for adults is brilliant, something we all wanted but other groups are really losing out which will put to much of a strain on some family's and will be the final straw.

It's a good point about the months notice if performances on the pitch are poor. You could argue those that have a cheaper seat might be inclined to keep paying so they don't lose it (the cheap seats will be oversubscribed) but those paying £40 per month will know they can cancel and renew later in the season and there'll be plenty of seats left at that price. It's such a badly thought system as it stands at the minute, and we yet to have the release of matchday prices, that all sorts of cost permutations/ anomalies will spring up because of fans differing individual needs/issues.
I've upgraded a child's pass many a time, often when it's been a night game or the young 'un was Ill etc. Never took more than 10-15 minutes. There's no excuse for the club failing to check that others did the same if attending with a kids' pass. If next week's full disclosure makes a difference to what I pay for an adult and two kid's passes then I'll make the right decision for us. We don't live in Hull, so I often miss night games after work, and as we've become worthy of more Sky attention I can see myself letting the passes go. I've always worked away and before the internet had to rely on radio or a phone call home for City news, at least these days I can be up to date with the goings on at City, see a few games on telly, get to the circle once in a while and still feel like I am a city fan, but if the kids don't build up an affinity for the club they could be lost to the tiger nation.
One of the main issues here is that for many years the club has promoted building an audience of under 15s (the next generation) due to the excellent pricing structure. It was certainly one of the main reasons I started taking my kids. Now, with very little notice at the end of the season the rug is essentially being pulled. While I have no qualms with a membership scheme per se, you're pissing on your chips when the scheme destroys what you've been building over the past few years. Sure, it isn't going to affect income in the immediate future, however 20 years down the line there's going to be major issues.
Its a f **** idea. Worse then the name change imo. A kick in the teeth to young supporters and people who take kids I hope the trust or what ever its called are going to fight this attempt by the club to lock young fans out of the stadium
Perhaps the theory is to leak really bad news so that the just bad news seems good, and they look like they've listened.
If it wasn't the Allam's idea, whose was it? It can't have been an unwanted suggestion from the FWG. (Who i keep thinking of as the flag waving group).
The original idea of switching from a season pass system to a membership based system came from Strawberry and was developed with management at the club, I understand Ehab had little involvement other than signing off the final version.
