Day 3 of the 'Greatest Week on Turf' and i can safley say it's going to be one that stays in the memory bank for a long time...

    Here's hoping on these...

1.30 - Black Hercules e/w. Did have him antep in the RSA, so i feel i must stick with him now...?!?
    2.10 - Our Kaempfer
4.10 - Kings Palace. Picked this one last night but it looks doomed now Sh1tewise has picked him...
    5.30 - Silvergrove & Dr. Harper e/w

Also have the hotpots Vautour, Thistlecrack & Limini in a small treble & doubles. Got Thistlecrack at 8/1 antep, nowhere near whta i know some of you have him. But 8/1 is a lot bigger than the 5/6 you can get him now...!!

Good luck once again to all the lads n ladettes today. May the festival continue to give us great memories and times...<ok><cheers>

I'm boycotting the JLT because of the travesty that Shaneshill isn't running in it. My day starts at 2.10.

Sad to report that NO MORE HEROES has indeed been put down after yesterday's injury. He severed a tendon and could not be saved.

Had to change my Avatar to "The Sprinter", still loving that performance; what a way to be introduced to Cheltenham, eh ?
Great to have such a memorable event to mark my first ever serious involvement in this great sporting festival.

    Now, on to today.
Done a Mullins double; well you have to really.
Also like the vibe around Our Kaempfer in the 2.10, so I'm on that.

Then, I'm scratching my head to be honest; lots of opinions, lots of possibilities.
Maybe today is the day I find "the one"; the JLT may offer me a chance here, let's take a look .... or perhaps the 4.10, though support for Johns Spirit is strong.

    Coffee helps.

Quite a few fancies on here for the Kim Muir at 5.30.

I'm gonna have a sporting few quid on The Job Is Right e/w @ 28/1.

He holds his form well and backed up a good run over timber, behind yesterdays winner Diamond King, with a decent fourth in the Thyestes.

Third in the NH 'chase last year he might just outrun his odds despite not looking overly well handicapped.

    GL all.

Today is my final day of punting and I have availed myself of a small e/w Lucky 31 for a bit of fun

    1.30 AS DE MEE
    2.10 ROLLING MAUL
    2.50 VILLAGE VIC
3.30 SAPHIR DU RHEU - worth noting that he has had a wind op since his last run
    4.50 BLOODY MARY

Three Musketeers looks over priced at 12/1. So the free Skybet malarkey will do for a starter!!!!
All the best for Patricks day, and good luck to all!!!

Aux Ptits Soin is much better than his 18/1 odds.
He won the Coral last year despite crashing into nearly all the hurdles.
He has not run since and I am hoping Paul Nichols has got him ready for this race just like last year.
Slight worry is that he has only been in work since the first week of January as a couple of minor surgeries have had him out.
Basically no-one knows what he is capable of as he has been kept under wraps for a year. Nicholls says he will make a very good 3 mile chaser so very much one for the future. He looks very strong and stamina is no problem.

JLT - Bristol De Mai win bet and BDM / GLV reverse forecast. Black Hercules should have been in the RSA and I couldn't back anything that Bryan Cooper rides at the moment.

Pertemps Final - Fingal Bay won this off top weight a couple of years ago and I fancy Taglietelle to do the same. He'll "pasta" post in front <ok>

Ryanair - Depending on how the first couple of races go I might be tempted to lump on Vautour but will wait to see him going to post.

World Hurdle - Thistlecrack of course.

Plate - my 2 from the preview evening, Johns Spirit and Niceonefrankie

    Mares - Limini and e/w Robin's Reef

Kim Muir - Doctor Harper and maybe follow Bob on The Giant Bolster
