Joesephine ma cherie, bonjour... what are you doing on here, you know it's not time for Friday Music thread yet? You ready for this tussle with the magpies then? I hope you've got that full kit laying out on the bed ready for QWOP Make sure it's 3 sizes too small for him so everybody can see his little budgie tongue.
Hope your wearing a St P hat witha alter ego outfit aka Dave Bowie ★★ - Black Country Rock with guitar riffs of Byrne Baby Byrne - Seriously .....getting an Irish lurcher on Sat -
I can never get my head round why so many English people celebrate St Day and so few celebrate St George's Day.. This is almost as strange as why so many yanks claim to have Irish heritage..
Hello Terry Was taking 5 out with a brew, not the normal but what is now.. Haven't heard from QWOP for a while now and things have been up in the air my end so maybe others can organise the kit.. Hope alls good with you mate..
He should be buying his own kit really, that was part of the deal I think! All is top notch mate, cheers.
If I hear another Oirish choon or better still get requested to play one again this year ...I will not be responsible for my actions
I have absolutely nothing against St Patrick's day - but I spent most of yesterday in the car travelling to various meetings and every show talked about St Patrick's day - over 30 times I heard it referenced. What truly annoys me is that, on St George's day, I could listen to the same shows and they will mention St George's day once each at most! It seems that we're more willing to celebrate the irish one than the English!
Does St Georges day give you an excuse to wear green clothes and stick a stupid hat on your head ? Is it an excuse for downing pints of guiness/Irish beer ? Nope. Give St Georges day a theme, get it associated with beer and get every getting pissed then you'll get your 30 mentions on a radio.
last st George's Day they were giving out England bowler hats in Josephs and had lots of traditional real ales brewed in England on tap..
