    Happy Guinness day for those who celebrate <cheers>

    ...and a 'Feck Off' to those that don't :emoticon-0172-mooni

    I'm happy regardless have three gigs in the city centre today- so I've polished up my Bodhrán and eventually found my cipin tippers and bone (where I'd left them after last years gig<doh>)

    <cheers>

    Edit that one quickly, was a bit too harsh and a bit too early.

    Soooooooooooooo then, how many other saints are based on lies?

    St George... there were no dragons either.

    So many to choose from - but today I'll most likely be praying to St.Arnulf - The Patron Saint of Beer and by the end of the night most likely Saint Bibiana -The Patron Saint of hangovers

    This is going well Diddles <laugh>

    I remember being in a shopping precinct, retail park thingy, just outside of the city, popped to Maplin for a cable, then this horrible trampy Irish parade started going past the entrance so no cars could get in/out, the copper I spoke to said it'd be a few minutes whilst the parade passed by... 2 ****ing hours!

    Two hours of bloody horrible Irish pop music and stupid floats going past, Boyzone.... why me?

    I'm not enamoured with the majority of the Irish tunes that'll I'll be playing today - to be fair- I'm not that fond of some the songs that I regularly play in any of the bands I work with ...I'm just being mercenary ...it'll be a good pay day for a Thursday and lots of free beer and food :emoticon-0178-rock:

    You love it all, I see through your bravado, there's nothing you love more than a bit of Westlife and a Pina Colada.

    Well I thought you'd have Guinness as number 1.

    I knew you were a fan of the Corrs, and Jedward.
