I have made the decision over night that due to my 16 year old son's doubling in price up to £324 I will not be renewing his pass.

I can see there being a few heartbroken kids this year because their parents simply cannot afford the huge price hike.

    Sad times.

I would still wait before making any rash decisions and disappointing some poor kid for the actual renewal forms and formal details from the club are sent out.

Yes obviously I will be waiting but if that price stands then my decision stands.

£324 (and that's at the cheaper £27 option) for a 16 year old season ticket is a ****ing piss take and wrong on every level.

I bet if one of you lovely people researched it that would have to be the most expensive in the country.

Well I don't really know what's going on here but there is the same sort of conflict as the EU "IN" and "OUT" brigades. Other boards are split about 50-50 as to whether to renew or not. Both my sons have decided not to renew as has my 3 Grandson's and the one Great Grandson. They were tossing the idea about after Tuesday night where there was less than 15,000 in the ground (lowest of the season they tell me) and segments of the crowd started booing our own players so when this new 'Membership Scheme' came out they decided to give it the @rse. My sons have been season pass holders for just over 40 years.
Sorry state of affairs just now.

I think trying to justify the kids ticket price going up by saying the combined price of an adult and child will be less is rather poor.

There are plenty of kids who go alone or with their mates, now they have to pay a whole lot more to get a ticket.

You make some good points Filey but can't you save some money by going in the concession area in North?

I appreciate that there are cost implications, but given that the finer points are still being looked in to, one possible short term solution to part of the problem is to sell passes/membership to the upper west for next season so that relocations can be better discused or organised. The cost in part would be met by those that would otherwise walk away.

Let's hope those who praised the Allam family for many months now fully understand the real evil of the dark side this nasty, football illiterate family possess.

I'm not trying to justify it, I'm trying to get a better understanding of individual circumstances of those who can't benefit from the changes, whatever they do.

Any seat moves were always going to be deeply unpopular, I think people needed to see a financial benefit for them to entertain moving and I'm concerned that too many seem to be falling between the gaps even if they are prepared to move.

So we have an OAP who has supported the club for years taking a youngster just getting the Hull City bug and may go on supporting City until he is an OAP.

Thanks very much that will be kick in both bollocks for you.

I think the finances are only part of the issue for some. There are several other factors that need to be acknowledged and weighed in.

In broad terms, it's likely more took direct action against the last evictions, for example by walking away, than did for the name change. This time round the numbers look to be even higher.

We still don't have all the facts yet. No doubt there are areas being worked on/tweaked as we speak. Can some of you save your hysterics for when the whole picture is available?

I just read a couple of neutrals twitter feeds. Along with on here, the abuse is frankly ridiculous. No, that "fan v fan" **** is not the Allams fault. It's the ****y fans with chips on their shoulders fault.

I'd just like to tip my hat with admiration for Lambo in all this. It's not his fault, he hasn't suggested or sanctioned anything, he's not sleeping with the Allams, he's said Burns shouldn't have released what he did when he did, he's said this idea was not from the Allams, he's said the whole picture is not available yet, he's defended **** all in fact, and is politely offering advice and figures etc. Yet some of you ****s have turned on him like a pack of ****s.You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Genuinely no idea how he's remained calm and polite.

Surely the club could see the problems with this scheme.

Firstly the kids situation is an absolute disgrace.
Ehab said on radio that they only account for 8% of supporters and almost dismissed them.
He should be doing everything to make that 8% turn to 15% or 20%, not reduce it.

Secondly I envisage thousands of fans now being displaced from their seat either by the clubs choice or because of financial choice. I suspect many will join the thousands of absentees, especially if we fail to get promoted.

They should of introduced a membership scheme were adults pay a flat rate £30 per month and children pay flat rate £12 per month, and everyone sits in their current seats or move if they wish. The zonal system is corrupt, everyone likes different views and areas to sit and we are all watching the same thing so should all pay the same.
Obviously corporates would be dealt with in the usual manner.

I think if they had introduced this then we would get thousands more fans back, rather than alienating more of the support.
