Why? To bore people to tears? To kill off this forum? To make yourself look like an idiot? What reason could you have for monotonously repeating the same things over and over and over again?

 

Nothing ridiculous about it, people saying i should go support Bayern-Barca like i am a glory hunter, yet I keep my ST every year, and continue to plan to do so, even though I don't live in London, I still want to keep it, and pay the money.

 

If Piskie can repeat the same ****, so can I. .

Sorry, I don't mean to take the piss. But you're saying that you pay £1500 for a season ticket (that you never use) and that makes you a proper fan.

It doesn't. I don't even know where to begin, if you can't see that. Buying a season ticket for your brother to watch the games, doesn't make you a proper fan, it makes HIM the proper fan. If you cancelled it YOU would be no more or less of a supporter than you are now. BTW I'm not saying you're not a proper fan, but your justification for being one is just plain wrong.

 

I didnt buy it for him, i got it for me, and then I happened to no longer live in London, so now he goes and watches the games. but that doesnt mean I'm gonna get rid of my ST.

 

It's nice of him to buy his brother a season ticket each season though!

It is all about IFs. I wonder whose fault it was, that we did not sign any outfield player in the summer transfer window? I also wonder whose fault was it we did not sign a world class striker (who would be able to put 50% of the chances we seem to create away)? The world and its dog, knew where we needed to strengthen last season, apart from one man.

Arsenal fans deserve more than are we getting value for what we pay to watch our team. A fairly placid goner put it succinctly after one of Giroud's many misses at the Emirates. He said "I am not knocking the boy, he tries his best, but for the money we pay to watch The Arsenal, we deserve better..." I think he has a point. Every close season, there is always if this, if that, regrets....

We didn't disgrace ourselves tonight, and that's all I wanted. It mat sound defeatist but we were realistically never going to get anything tonight.

That's not being deluded, that is reality. We are not one of the top sides in Europe, and need to get a hold of that fact now already.
