Appreciate the reply. I do hope they have a major re-think on how to encourage teenagers to the games, at the moment they've done nothing. Completely and totally baffling if they want to improve the atmosphere.

Join the club Filey, I really thought I'd miss the home games this season, but I don't - I have other hobbies, I can go see a non-league game at Winterton or Brigg if I need a football fix.
They have done a lot to encourage teens to games. Prices have been reasonable. Maybe they just havent come. Xbox etc So they've given up. It seems the only ones taking advantage of the teenage tickets are 35 year old blokes...
Agreed. Short of means testing everyone, there's always going to be winners and losers. Looks like they just shifted the goalposts on that. I've never understood why teens want to go to the game with their parents. I'd say it's part responsible for the loss of atmosphere. A gang of teens is always more boisterous than ones and twos going with their old man.
Know what you're saying Chazz. I guess what I meant is the new proposed scheme is a missed opportunity to do more to try and encourage them.
I know how you are feeling Filey I take my 17 year old daughter but to sit were we are now will be £996, I will try to move to a cheaper area but fear many others will be doing this has well. My pass has come down around £60 I think but the daughters has gone right up, when I was her age I was working, paying board and buying my own pass but in this day and age they don't finish school until they are 18
No, my apologies I read the wrong link, took me to 2014-15 not 2015-16. Here's the correct figures for the black bits in the South Stand: An adult and 1 child will pay £648. This season they paid between £561 and £621 depending on the child's age. One adult and two children will pay £756. This season they paid between ££591 and £711 (again depending on age). Two adults and two children will pay £1,296. This season they paid between £1122 and £1,242. For each additional child the difference is between an extra £162 and £222. For families behind the goal the cost of watching Hull City has gone up not down for all combinations. In 2013-14 an adult pass for the South Stand was £395, for 11-15 £79 and under 11 £33.

Don't disagree with you here. It is being handled very badly - possibly leaked before it should have been, and/or consultation with interested parties leaves a lot to be desired. Their idea or not, they must have given the go-ahead. If this forum (and respondents to Burnsey's show today) are representative of the climate, it look's to me like a PR/business plan disaster yet again. Further alienation of the fans, plus somewhat misleading statements about savings. Someone has to pay for it - unless they (the owners) are in the business of throwing money away. Not knighthoods, sainthoods then.
Just move to the corners, it's cheaper there seems to be the answer anyone critical of the new system gets.
Conspiracy theory would assume they're ploughing the way for a sale by agreeing to do the dirty work required for a sale first before picking up the cheque. The only reason I can think of in that context.
With the Premier League ready to hand out the biggest TV pay day in the history of world football, the chance of the Allams selling up is absolutely zero. They will be squirming a bit now though with us seemingly blowing it somewhat. If we don't go up expect a sale when the parachute payments stop.
