    Then it's incorrectly known. Most yanks love Canadians. Their stereotype is really polite, nice people who would go well out their way to help you.

    There is a rivalry of sorts but it's extremely friendly. I've never heard an American express a dislike of Canadians. Worst you'll hear is that they're boring and Canada is too cold.

    Quebec gets a lot of bad opinions though because of their Frenchness and French links.

    Three countries America has near universal love for: Canada, Australia, and Ireland for some odd reason.

    its i think just fun to slag off all canadian sports, attitudes and beer.

    I don't know why us people love australia. there was a fascination with crocodile dundee but aussie actors get a good time of it in us... they are not made play the villain like british actors. I dunno why? made something about wwii.
