He was talking about City last week.

The Hull City Official Supporters Club welcomes the concept of the Earn Your Stripes membership scheme and its intention to make the overall cost of supporting our team fairer to the majority of fans and to create an improved atmosphere at the KC. We absolutely appreciate some fans will be affected by the prices and / or by having to move seats, but we hope the scheme will bring benefits to all fans and improve the match day experience in the long term. One of the major advantages to the scheme is that it should make the cost of a match day more affordable to families.

We look forward to understanding more about the other benefits yet to be detailed, when they are released next week by the Club. For further details on the Earn Your Stripes scheme please visit the Club Website

Is this all set in stone?

If the club do this but just keep two levels of concessions. One for under 16 and one for 16 to 22 year olds. I think it would be good.

Now its out in the open about ****s defrauding the club and other fans. They will be able to police it better and take action.

A club doesn't develop a new membership scheme for 2 years to make less money. As has already been pointed out there are a number flimsy excuses for the system been made by the club.

We are totally alienating the future generation of supporters. My pass will be about £50 cheaper but when you're already paying near enough £500 it's hardly a massive change, it's still way overpriced. Families that want to sit in the family area are better off but what about families that don't, they're going to be massively worse off. The lack of thought and care that has gone into this is staggering.

Yet another own goal by 'the club'.

    Imagine the Scenario......
You've paid full whack to sit in N3 behind the goal......
The scrotes in N2 see your block ain't full and come across to your block for a better view.
You know for a fact they have paid less than you.....
Do you say nowt, they are a fellow City fan,
Or do you say **** off out of my block you cheating ****......
The Allams have now managed to outdo FAN v FAN...
Its every BLOCK for themselves, BLOCK v BLOCK....
This should be on Hull Tigers Box Office.....

The middle blocks in the South Stand are black. The cost per month is £27 so for the year (season) that's £324 each. A family of four (2 adults, 2 children) would pay £1,296. Previously they'd pay between £1,062 and £1,182. Looks like I was being too generous to the club.

yes and he thinks he is going to go straight into the cheap £21.50 zone which will already be full from existing pass holders so that will be the end of him

QUESTION TO OLM - Was there any discussion at the meetings of how the blocks will be stewarded. Everyone I've spoke to, has said **** it, gonna get the cheapest membership, then gonna sit in better seats in the relevant stand. A jolly good idea. Although this could be a damming reflection on my circle of friends morals.

I'm not sure about the North and East bits. It seems the lower monthly payments are to accommodate the teenage Ulltras, who would have had to pay full pops.

The South Stand will be what I'd recognise as the family stand. Adults plus their kids. In large sections of the South families will be paying more.

The way I am looking at all of this is some fans with teenagers will leave simply because they cannot afford it and from the sounds of it many of the the upper west fans will leave, now to replace the lost fans many who have been going for years they are going to come back expecting it to be much cheaper which it will be if they get it the cheap zones but they will have already gone because when you take out the south stand there is not enough cheap zone blocks left. So zone 4 and above will start at £498 which I don't think will entice that many back.

It's utter lunacy, rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic etc
Different prices in different blocks of the same stand for a ground holding 25k only.

Why not man up and admit the current prices are way too high and lower them by 25% across the board?
Keep the S for families, and make it unreserved seating all round the rest of the ground, and have one cash only turnstile manned by a person of trust known to the Allam family?

Can it all be really so complex?

Seems Burnsy is been **** and prematurely released a scoop. So the club's been forced to give us some sketchy, at best, info.

Problem is, we don't really know the full details of the membership scheme. There's more to come for sure, so I'll save my full on harrumphing till we know more.

Personally I'd say the membership scheme has the potential for a lot of positives, but from what we know so far it's not being implemented to it best.

For sure the announcement of it is undoubtedly a cluster ****. I'll refer you back to Burnsy on that one.

What does piss me off, is the way they have worded the details on the official club website. Comes across like proper snake oil salesmen.

Families could make savings of up to so and so, adults able to make savings of so and so...

Please just treat us like grown ups, save us the conjecture and give us the cold hard facts. Good and bad.
