"They are tricky you know. When they go down, they shout. They never go down silent so that influence quite the ref every single time. All of them, not one goes down without shouting" Was this quote from: a) Claudio Ranieri following the Arsenal flopfest against Leicester or b) Arsene Wenger, having watched his team get totally outplayed by Barca?
... no chance of them relaxing ... not if they are playing this back-to-back with that match at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium ... might just have time for an isotonic drink and a slice of orange ...
Fortunately for the Gooners I think Barca will go easy on them tonight. Once they've gone a couple more goals up they will turn it into a training exercise.
I reckon it might actually be a score draw on the night. Arsenal fans will think they've turned a corner from putting such a great performance at the Nou Camp and will prove that Wenger still has it Conveniently forgetting that the tie was over after the first leg. Well that's what has seemed to happen in recent years anyway
I've already predicted a humiliation. I will be reviving my match-day thread to remind people, later today.
This is the match. The one where Wenger wums the Arsenal fans by getting a result against Barca under 12's and turn the turmoil of the last few weeks into a firm 'Wenger in'.
"This is the match" after which Wenger executes step 2 of operation SOS (which I do love ) , the ultimate Goon WUM.
Barcelona 5 arsenal 0 as a side note my son has gone to the game and has just sent me a text to say he has met Wenger Bouldy and the team when they were at training, and has sent some cracking selfies of himself with the team. Nice memento to have but It's a shame that we are going to get bumfucked by Barca later.

Ah! This is the match-day thread, so I kinda did already revive it! I reckon this is going to be a total drubbing, since Arsenal have to attack in order to have any chance of progressing. If Barca take their chances, it will be at least 5-0. If they don't, it'll be 2-0, but with some very soiling stats for Arsenal to have to swallow.
The mighty Sol Campbell scoring in a Champions League final, the rest is all secondary to that moment ...
"The mighty Sol Campbell scoring in a Champions League final, the rest is all downhill from that moment" <fixed> <FACT>
