So this whole membership thing is great then? Apologies if I don't take you and your sources seriously.
1. We don't have all the details yet. Stop with the hysterics FFS. 2. Person makes claim about how this is a knife in the back to them (see 1). Usual suspects sympathise and throw the usual bile at the club. 3. Person states for them it's good news and welcome. Usual suspects (from 2) throw usual accusations at them. You seriously think consulting fans is a good idea? Realistically you will mostly read complaints, some genuine, some not so genuine but a convenient stick to hit the club with. This will impact positively on the good old silent majority who won't bang on about because they get it, and don't mind it. I swear some of you must wake up hoping to hear something you can be offended by or angry at. It's a shame you can't wait til you have all the facts. Did we find out if Burns was told or allowed to release what he did last night?
He's been 'thinking too much' for a while now. I think the real Sydney was kidnapped a while back and some argumentative **** has taken his place.
You see, you are capable of a sensible post. There WILL be a mass movement of fans to alternative seats this summer - mainly all drawn towards the cheaper ones. If it's first come first served then I'd advise to my get your membership form sent off pronto. Unintended consequences ? Those that are not able to move to the cheaper areas because someone else beat them to it will have a choice to make. Pay the extra or just say **** it I won't bother. And anyone who has witnessed the dwindling attendances this season (less then 16k there last night in a game when we could have gone second) will know what the answer to that will be.
I think having a meeting with Upper West season ticket holders to explain the position would have been a good idea. As would asking for alternative suggestions. Same with the adults without kids in the South Stand. Most people without kids will be paying roughly what they did a couple of years ago. Without the price increases last season would this have seemed such a good deal? Do I think 9 year olds should be charged £324 to watch Hull City? No. Do I think a 9 year old should be charged £324 so I get a cheaper seat? No.
I think they plan to get the West Upper people in to explain everything and let them check out the views from other parts of the ground, that's what was mooted at the meeting anyway.
This. If people aren't renewing despite being given cheaper tickets then they need to get over themselves.
I said nothing wrong, you're just looking to give me a whack like always despite your being shown up as a total plonker already. Also not sure where this myth is that I changed somewhere down the line. I've always argued a point, I just used to lurk a lot more than now.
I sit in W10 & in the mail it says that's allocated to match day in grey! But on city's website it's in green! So I've no idea if I'm being EVICTED or not?
How was the idea of the membership scheme met at the meeting ? Didn't anyone stand up for families that are going to be subsidising adults ? No, I reckon most attendees were middle-aged with grown up kids and the thought of a parent with 2 young kids been priced out never even crossed their minds. The membership scheme is good in principle but badly thought out.
Vice chairman Ehab Allam said: "For too long, the price of football in this country has been much too high. This new scheme will at least ensure the same cannot be said of Hull." WTF?!? He's forgotten our name. Either that or he's bought out Adam Pearson.
Our club is Hull City. This shortens to either Hull, City, or The Tigers if you want to use our nickname. Those living in the shadow of the eggchasers need to get over it.
They can **** off if they think the west standers are having my seat in S5 with ****ing brilliant views. Bastards.
