A quick scan around this forum and it's one post after another where someone is being nasty to another person. We have our rivalries but do we have to chase each other around being horrible?

I have created this thread a Switzerland, a place of peace and kindnes and expensive beer, somewhere that being horrible isn't allowed.

Come here in peace and be kind to your fellow not606 posters regardless of your feelings toward them and regardless of who they support.

It's not a thread for sexual activity I don't want anyone trying to pull, it's just about being nice.

So come here with the right attitude and enjoy the love. <hug>
 
How long before this becomes a Spurs v Arsenal thread with the odd Hammer occasionally windmilling in and out shouting Tiocfaidh ár lá!!

I am slightly concerned that my presence on this post might be inflammatory. All of you will have observed that, whilst I am always urbane and polite to even the coarsest of my unwashed enemies, they do not show me the same respect. The several years of witty putdowns, brutal wummery, and outrageous "ownings" that I have inflicted on them - all for the better amusement of this site, I might add - has hardened their hearts against me.

I am flesh and blood, too. If you prick me, do I not bleed?

If, as a result of my presence here, we witness any ugly nastiness, I will absolutely understand if you have to kick the miscreant's ass off this threat with a formal banning. None of us want any of that sort of thing, here.
