Seems very positive at first glance. I can see a few of the usual ****s trying to drag it down and be negative.
If they were going to do a membership scheme it would have made sense to have lower price band memberships that didn't include or guarantee any tickets but gave priority to any left over from fully fledged members. That would have pulled a few extra quid from those who just like to turn up for the big games and helped prevent the Hull Reds etc from getting in so easy.
Re @hullcity new membership scheme. I'll be discussing the details on Wednesday's Burnsy show @RadioHumberside from 9. Join in. #hcafc
Really not sure what your point is. Either you're suggesting someone from the club relayed information to Burnsey, which is what I'm saying, or you're suggesting a supporter did, which would be grossly unprofessional of both Burnsey and whoever it was who did it.
All I said was I'll wait to see the full details of the scheme before I comment on it properly. Especially taking into account other poster's comments that seem to think it'll be like no other membership scheme. On Burns' posts it appears ambiguous & too good to be true. If it is that good fair play to the club. It'll be a laugh charging home fans around £13 a game & away support a bargain £30. I'm presuming most would join, if it is that good, to guarantee themselves a seat. Just because Burns' says his source is from the club doesn't mean he's telling the truth. If he had spoken to Ehab he would have said that. That would have given him the proper exclusive. Full details of the membership scheme are in Burns' main local media competitor tomorrow. I think he's petulantly just tried to get in there first with the scraps he'd been given. The club should have none of this pussy footing around. Press conference & full details released online simultaneously, it's that simple.
I think everyone's on agreement with what you just said so really no idea what we've just been arguing about.
Details on hdm website now, though largely unreadable due to adverts. The £21/month price is only for family area in South away from the goal (where existing non-family ST holders will need to move away from). Prices in East are more like £4-500 per season, so few reductions for adults and inceases for kids and old folk. No memberships in upper west. Looks like a car crash.
It's disappointing that it's been released this way, it's a radical new system, some aspects of which will be unpopular in some quarters and it really needed to be fully explained from minute one (Burnsy was working with the club, he wasn't guessing anything, or acting on any leaked info). We were emailed last night asking us to still not post anything until the club had released all the details in full, I haven't read the HDM yet, but if all the details are in there then I'll assume the NDA no longer applies. Either way I'm assuming all the details will be in the public domain today and I'll be able to clarify anything people are unclear of.
There will be seats either side of a staircase, five feet apart, where one is available at £284 and the other costs £414. That'll be hard to swallow. The fact you need a child with you access the cheaper seat makes that even less palatable. Allam in the HDM acknowledges that teenagers will massively lose out, but says they will benefit when they become adults. Aye, cos they'll stick around for that great day to come won't they!
You can buy tickets for N2 to N5 but both corners of ground have four blocks in grey at both sides so the north stand lot will be properly isolated
The price zones... http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...w-membership/story-28928647-detail/story.html
4,000 seats dedicated to families. Is there even the demand amongst families for that number of seats? Let alone the fact that some dads and lads won't want to sit in the face painting zone, so must pay full whack.
The allams have now forced season ticket holders to move from 14 sections of the ground in total (e1-e3) and now the entire north stand upper. Yes, that's how to listen to your customers absolute ****ing muppets. The rabble from e1-e3 they got away with, but there's gonna be tartan blanket tantrums this morning
The West stand scheme will be a right battle. A quick glance shows season ticket holders from 22 blocks condensed into just 8 available blocks from next season????? Three words..... absolute ****ing farce
I've no idea why that north west corner is shown as not being available, they're obviously going to need it to accommodate those who have to move, I'll try and find out what's going on.
Two years in the planning....... Ffs... Jokers. How can a seat in N2 be two zones cheaper than a seat four feet away in N3??? The price gaps are so badly thought out and implemented
No wonder the muppets have been so quiet recently been busy at home with stadium maps and packets of Crayola Crayon's..... Old man Allam is **** at colouring in the blocks , I only go over lines twice
