The PSV manager Philip Cocu was interviewed before the game on Spanish TV, speaking in Castellano of course. I think he could have played for Barca so probably speaks Catalan as well. I wonder how he would do in the PL should a PL club show interest. He certainly has drilled his players well in taking penalties.

Harry Redknapp is going to mentor at Derby as well as manage the Jordan National team....presumably all without leaving Sandbanks. Rumours that he is sending his dog to Jordan in his place have been strenuously denied.

 

There was a note on the BBC live text about how in Europe penalty shootouts are really exciting affairs, and every player wants to take one, even the defenders can take sublime penalties. Yet its totally different over here.

 

Unless Lovren or Lallana are missing one of those penalties

 

I read that wrongly....I thought they had taken charge of Derby, Jordan, Bangladesh and Australia.

 

That Derby screwed. Sacking Clement & going for some quick fix, the owner should have been honest with the fans.

Depends if you want to watch a procession involving an English club or a potentially competitive and interesting match.
