I don't think you understand the proposal. The way I read it, you can retain your seat, you don't buy tickets to home games. Instead you sign up for a membership pre-season, pay a monthly amount, and get your 'season ticket' that you've always had plus other stuff they might want to throw in like merchandise.
Yeah I'd go with that...almost sounds like it could just be a case of offering 'season' tickets under the guise of memberships by monthly direct debit to me
You can't have a proper opinion without the details. From the info you posted from Burnsey the important word is "from". Burnsey's tweet does not infer that 12 payments of £21 will get you into 23 games.
Hmmmm....membership scheme.....no season tickets.....no ticket office staff......... It all smacks of one large members club.......if you arent in the club you can't come in? No individual match day tickets......could this be the best Allam idea yet?
From what Burnsy has said, the whole system will be completely different to what any club is operating at the moment. I do think you are right, until the club announces it fully, no one will have all of the details. Those who were at the meeting are still bound by the confidentiality agreement. The people I know who went have not disclosed anything.
I do hope they haven't based the maths on the figures on here saying we has the most expensive cheapest passes.
I don't think this was the right way to announce it at all. Should be a full and thorough announcement.
It does look like ebay will be awash with secondhand flasks and tartan blankets, if we don't get promotion.
I bet it won't be that simple, probably to guarantee entry to every home game you'll have to have a higher level of membership which will include loads of merchandise and other bollocks 90% of people don't care a **** about. We'll see when the details are released but I can't imagine the club would give away a season ticket so cheaply.
Is there no official press release? For a big business a tweet from a local journo is a piss poor way to announce anything let alone something as important as this.
I think the club invited him to do that. God knows why they wouldn't announce it properly themselves though.
