Looks like this happened when this wonderful chap was still a sunderland player. Oh dear, this one could run as well. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-35811404
Firstly I feel for the poor victim. If found guilty I hope they throw the book at him. I wonder if Byrne knew about this one (not sure of the timings etc...)?
He is on trial for two accounts of rape. He was arrested on 25th January, 2015 after the alleged incident in Gateshead. Sunderland announced on 2nd February, 2015 that he had left the club by mutual consent. According to the Daily Mail, he was charged on 24th June, 2015 and has appeared at court recently to set a trial date which will be in Newcastle on 25th April. It's a good question, Albert. Did Byrne know about this one? Is this the first anyone else has heard of this?
They're all wronguns. Scummy bastards one and all. Byrne knew, Short knew, Sam knew, the fans knew. Sickening.
If you dig deep enough you will find **** with in every avenue of human endeavour, if that is what gives you your kicks there is no limit, go ahead, in this instance if we concentrate on the positives, Sunderland players over the years have created a record that is the envy of opposing teams , you will see constant evidence of this from small minded people
I don't know Fredor.. Down Pennywell way a fiver goes a long way... Like 5 streets worth of local 'totty'....
The chip weighs heavy on the other side of the Tyne, and it is resulting in sinking the depths of human behaviour.
Current Newcastle player still being allowed to play and represent the club despite it becoming common knowledge that he made a 13 year old girl pregnant.
You knew. You all knew. The rumours were circling. yet the banners went up, the chants went out. Then you lot try to explain it away by raising some tabloid news story about our striker who has never been charged, convicted or otherwise. Then we have the mindless attack by a Sunderland fan in Blyth chucked in. Which moreorless further tries to distort, play down and degrade the sickening acts that are taking place on a daily basis by those representing your tin pot club. Absolutely sickening.
Wasn't 'innocent until proven guilty' a stance you took with AJ Whitey? just trying to get my head around the polarisation of your approaches there..
Just making a point to those trying to claim any moral high ground.. and the difference with Cisse is that he is not going to face trial despite what he has done..
Innocent until proven guilty unless you don't go to court, in which case, guilty until you go to court - it's a bit wordy, I doubt it'll catch on.
