How many footballers do you see with their arms by their side? On top of that, the ones you do perhaps see, how natural do they actually look? Wes' arms ARE in a natural position. The argument you are putting forward is that he turned his back on the ball. Bit harsh imo.
Could have been given. Would have been harsh. The offside could have been given. Would have been harsh. Leicester maybe a bit fortunate. On another day one of those decisions could have gone our way. On that other day you could have said we deserved a point but you can't say we were robbed or that they didn't deserve the points.
It was a penalty. Several former referees agree that it was. They know the rules better than anyone despite what people think of them.
Yeah I'm not trying to claim we we're robbed or anything but I did think it was penalty at the time and having seen the replays. Other pro's have said as much and while BRS is right and it would be harsh, in the laws of the game its a penalty.
