Mulholland stated before the Hennessy that he was convinced The Young Master was better than the 150 he was allocated there. He's a de facto 146 today and must have a decent e/w shout @14/1 with Ladbrokes paying 5 places. Loads of well handicapped ones lurking in this.
This is where the placepot 'sorts itself out'. Which of course, I mean I get knocked clean out of it! 80% of tickets were on Douvan in the Arkle but this handicap sees a much bigger spread so the placepot will whittle down markedly here.

Third and better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick..slightly disappointing though..thought he would have been closer. Oddy your fella did well to place given the amount of mistakes he made.
