Yeah so March 5th I thought we had a chance, now I think that chance may have gone. If we're not going to win it I want to see Leicester do it.

    1) On the 5th you drew 2 all with us...you ain't played since and Leicester were massive favourites to win their last 2 matches, which they have now done...so I dont know what has changed to be honest...if you win your game in hand it'll mean you are just 2 points further behind Leicester than you were before the NLD.
    2) in your earlier post you said you "want them (Leicester) to win it" but in this post you say that "if we're not going to win it I want to see Leicester do it". These don't mean the same thing as the 1st one reads like you've give up all hope and the second one is what probably all of us think!

What's the difference eh? Our last league game was March 5th, it wasn't like we played in the league again and you thought we had a chance, but now you suddenly make this big U-turn, and it's ok for you to say that, but when I say it, oh no the world is ending, I'm giving up, I'm this, I'm that, bla bla!

At least you have seen the light, which is better than nothing.

It's a top 4 fight for Arsenal (again), how bloody exciting!

.. it's comments like this that make you look like a bell end ...you don't have any divine right to win the title, no team does ... most teams in the EPL (and indeed the leagues below) would love to be fighting for a top 4 spot in the top division <doh>...

... what would you do if you were in Villa's shoes? ... a relegation scrap is 'exciting' <laugh> .. and before you say it can't happen .. Villa have won the Champions League (equivalent) in my lifetime ... Leeds United have made both the final and semi ..... look how long the scousers have gone without a title ... they'd kill for a Champions League spot I'm sure ....

    ... reality check needed.

I can't speak for 87 but what bothers most of us is the way our players heads are going down at such a crucial part of the season. They have a real chance of winning the league, but they are producing some poor performances and it's obvious that it's mentally getting to them. But the problem also seems to be with the Manager, who should be instilling fighting spirit in our team. Ranieri has done a wonderful job of making you guys warriors on the pitch. Win, lose or draw, you go out battling, and its this thing that has endeared so many to Leicester this season.

We're not the only team playing in this league. Spurs and Leicester have both won again since. We've got a chance until it's mathematically impossible, but it doesn't look likely. If we don't win it then I'd like to see Leicester win it.

You really thought Spurs would not beat Villa, and Leciester would not beat Newcastle at the time? If there are any 3 points you can bank in this league, it's against those 2 **** teams, especially Villa, who should quite frankly just be kicked out of this league right now as they bring no competition and are just 3 points waiting to happen for anyone who plays them.

I wouldn't make comments like that, you know what's bound to happen <whistle>

... did you think Newcastle would win at Spurs? ... or that Norwich would hold Man City? .... Newcastle gave us a real tough test yesterday (as did Norwich) ... Villa seem to have given up the ghost admittedly but most EPL games are anything but foregone conclusions ...

Yep, the points aren't in the bag until, well, they're in the bag.

What people are forgetting is they have a new manager is Benitez, who is still a good manager and has a good track record in the Premiership. Newcastle also has some good players so it's no wonder they gave you a tough game. Newcastle will be a tougher proposition this season.

I can see a fair few teams dropping points against Newcastle now, it's good you've played them and got the result. Spurs have some tough fixtures ahead of them and will drop points.

I'm so bored of this club. It's like a chore watching Arsenal these days. I'm fed up with the same sh*t every damn season. It doesn't even matter if we finish top 4 or not because nothing's going to change. So as far as I'm concerned, the season is over. Don't care whether we win every game from now until the end of the season or whether we lose every game from now until the end of the season because in the grand scheme of things, it's all going to count for nothing. Yet again.

The team and manager can do whatever the f*ck they want from now until May. There is nothing to play for anymore.
