Taylor did make some weird selection decisions and his insistence on having all eleven players in the box to defend corners was really irritating, I think the criticism of his tactics was often justified despite him obviously doing a great job overall. When Brownie took us up he had no detractors at all, it was only much later, after he lost the plot, that he started to lose the fans and by Christmas in the second Premier League season he'd lost the majority. Leicester's performance this season has **** all effect of City fans view of Bruce, other than by reminding people that playing for a draw in the Premier League is a great way to get yourself relegated.
It seems it does, just above mediocrity gets you top, there's been a lot of really ****e football in the Championship this season.
In fairness our debt has dropped a fair bit from sales of pl players this season, and I dare say that with the amount of money on offer but how little we would have to alter our squad, it would come down even more.
City have played some awful football at times this season. Thats the truth. The chances we have blown to pull clear are amazing If we dont go up its a failure and a cock up by the manager....the players and the Allams Only luck by those around us also cocking up has given us yet another chance to rescue the situation tonight. Come on ull
Totally agree, but I have to compensate for the awful football served up at times with the good football we've seen also, unfortunately not so much of the latter by comparison. I think it's called grinding out results Brucey style!
Why would a City fan be frustrated by the deficiencies of our rivals? Seems like you're just arguing for the sake it.
Search me, it's about as logical as booing your own larkers. Talking of which, Forest don't have a manager as such right now and our squad is the best in this division according to many experts on here. They've lost 4 out the last 5. That must make a home win very likely, agreed? So at what point do I start venting my frustration when it's still 0-0? Don't wanna wait till the interval, so maybe start a slow handclap on twenty mins in? Or some barracking of Dawson and Davies for too much sideways passing on the half hour? You see, I want to see us do well and so we should with the money we've spent. I could wait to boo till halftime, but I'm keener than most so I'd like to see my vented frustration bear fruit so that we can go in a goal up.
You've got to be kidding. You're pulling me up on spelling as a come back? Go on then, which word was mis-spelled? Please be leaped...please be leaped...
Fair one. Of course, both leaped and leapt are acceptable past tenses of the verb leap. And lepped, naturally.
