Another reminder from the past,we used to go and watch Southampton Vikings in the building next to Top rank,always good fun and like most things ten times better live than on telly.Read somewhere (on here?) someone questioning why do people want an ice rink,well if it came with ice hockey I'd say go for it.Great fun.

 

Bristol's ice-rink, home of the Bristol Pitbulls hockey team, has been demolished and turned into student flats. The Pitbulls now have to go all the way to Oxford for their home games. Ridiculous.

 

I might be going to MK to see it soon. I do fancy that.

 

Coventry are in the Elite league (bigger stadia, I believe) and might be a better choice for atmosphere (thought MK might have a big stadium as well, of course).

Then again it does mean travelling to the least-friendly-car-parking-city on the planet.

Considering I'm not a big superhero fan, I must admit that Batman v Superman does look quite impressive. Of course if it's really a death-match then Superman is going to whip Batman's backside within seconds, unless there's yet another appearance of some Kryptonite. So I'm assuming there's more to it than meets the eye:
