Think they do rosc. Slavi has changed things and has them staying at a hotel the night before home matches - the Premier Inn across the road from the Bishop Park Gates I hear.
Did anyone else witness the shambles of astronauts and crosses at HT on Saturday? I'm not particularly keen on the announcer, although I doubt this was his idea. It just didn't make sense, the guy was an astronaut - why did they need a game to keep it going? I'm always hoping they roll out the marathon bet style inflatable where fans kicked a ball through holes to win money - thats about as good as halftime entertainment can get.
Thought it was a decent idea. Unfortunately the technology or more specifically, the technician, was sadly lacking. Like the lot on the pitch - good on paper but can't deliver in practice. Not a fan of kicking a ball through holes to win personal prizes I'm afraid. Much prefer when the youngsters get involved at half time events.
At the risk of sounding a grumpy old git (guilty as charged), I prefer absolutely nothing. Just let us get a pint and have a chat with the bloke next to you.
Just in case anyone is interested, as of a few days ago I'm now a level 1 qualified football coach. I did a course with Dorset FA and I'm co-coaching my youngest lad's under 9s team.
I see Roberts got rave reviews for Celtic, what a difference he could have made to our season. Are we destined to read more great reviews next season about the wonder performances of Hyndman, Dembele, and Mc C
I see Mourhino again at the Cottage on Saturday. He seems to be becoming a regular. I'm not reading anything into it but it's strange he's always about.
Amazing what some people will do for a freebie. please log in to view this image Of course might also have something to do with a certain affinity and his son playing in goal for the U14/U16 team. PS Believe Ray Lew was at the game as well - watching his son in the opposition camp.
Off to Bilbao. About the same distance as London to Aberdeen so getting a flight. Also taking a coat - 24 degrees here and sunny - 11 degrees there and raining.
Do others find the quality of Fulham's merchandise in the shops poor. The likes of the scarfs and hats feel like they've been made for £2 and will last 10 minutes.
First win away as well Fulhaman so doubt if the rain bothered you too much! please log in to view this image
Yep. Good away win and I've been in worse weather walking through Bishop's Park so all in all not a bad day.
The Andy Carol argument has started after his hat trick against Arsenal, should he be taken as an alternative tactic to the Euros. Bit like my thoughts on Matt Smith, why not play him as a change in tactics when needed, but I think SJ doesn't want to be labeled a long ball coach. He and Symons seem to be stubborn over playing Smith. Some teams are made for playing Smith against but rarely happens.
Well, Fulhaman - "You Lucky People". Imagine the scenes if you're goalkeeper hadn't redeemed himself in the penalty shootout and the QPR exile had missed his!? please log in to view this image But at the end of the day, there you are in the semis .. again. Well done Sevilla. And I see you've got Shakhtar Donetsk (ah, the memories). You going to the first leg?
