Spurs are in poll position to win the league now and it would be nice for someone else to win it.

Its noticeable the pressure is building though.

Their normally quite sensible fans are kicking off over anything which slightly involves them.

    Its a sign.

Luckily their players don't seem to be feeling it.

<laugh> you've been 'owned' and can't take it that I'm still here.

Anyway back to my questions, are you going to answer them or continue to bottle it ?

Poll position. ..We are 2 points behind leicester and they have a game in hand...We have to play Chelsea Liverpool Stoke (away) and United and Southampton at home ... whereas Leicester have played most of the difficult teams and got their points on the board.
If that makes us favourites in your eyes I can now see how you lot always see next year as being your year <laugh>

And we are not in pole position....don't tell me that's the confusion that led Pool to rejecting 1st a few years ago for 2nd.

You're playing things down mate to take the pressure off. No shame in that.

If I was a betting man I'd put it on Spurs.

Very difficult to beat, City look out of it and Arsenal are imploding.

    That leaves you and Leicester.

Leicester have been brilliant but surely they will have a wobble at some point?

You have some tough games, but contrary to your post, so do Leicester.

In the last three games they have United away, Everton at home and Chelsea away as the last game.

That is a very tough ask for a thin squad who have never been there before.

I would much rather be in Spurs position quietly waiting in the wings.

Being out in front makes you a target and there is added pressure - like with us a couple of seasons back.

But unlike City to compete with you have an unknown in Leicester.

It is there for Spurs if they want it <ok>

It's really not. Leicester should be five clear by 10pm with eight games to go. Yes, their last three games are tough but Chelsea will be walking the ball in for them if it stops Spurs winning it if necessary. Even if Leicester just win their home games (Southampton, West Ham possibly just before a semi-final and Swansea) and get, say, five other points including that Chelsea game, Spurs would need 19 points from eight games to match it.

All hypothetical of course. Leicester might lose 10-0 tonight but there's a reason they're odds-on.

It would be great for Leicester to win but I just can't help thinking there will be a twist yet.

    I guess we'll see!

Obviously after Spurs and the Goons have finished competing with each other this week
for the 'who can bring the least shame to the PL in a UEFA KO tie' Cup, then the true
fight is on. No more whining about fixture congestion, "thursday than sunday" etc.

My feeling is the gap to Leicester will "concertina" between now and the end, but
they will prevail by the end.

"You're playing things down mate to take the pressure off. No shame in that."

    Hardly.

There have been about 3 games this season where Spurs have started knowing a
win would put a big dent in their rivals, and have not delivered.

So on that basis you have to assume that when the pressure is really on, similar
will occur. And that is before you even consider who the remaining opponents are.

That's the sequel. If Arsenal lose to Barca and Everton, then he's going to immolate himself.
I was going to add a picture to illustrate my point, but maybe not, eh? <laugh>

Yep probably best not to, that's GC territory. Did you see the video doing the rounds of the anti EU protester trying to burn an EU flag with a lighter ? He couldn't get it to light because of the EU safety standards on fire ******ants. Beautiful :)

Teach us how to lighten up London, literally, :D.

I bet you were one of the rioters weren't you? Not just were you a rioter, you were probably one of the leaders-organisers, weren't you?
